I updated from 1.6 yesterday by buying PL. Got a 75GB download on GOG which took me about 24 hours to finish. But now I'm getting the exact same Download again. 74.91GB What's going on here. I have a temp folder in my game folder but I can launch the game via the 'Launch Cyberpunk 2077' shortcut and the splash screen tells me I'm on 2.01 and PL is installed

It's likely because their update to 2.01 failed, and it downloaded the new version from scratch. Many, if not all of us, have had this problem.

One of the problems with Galaxy is that it doesn't stop and ask what to do when it fails to update. Instead, it restarts downloading the whole game. It happens often with CP 2077.

If you're lucky. My re-install froze at the end and couldn't reach 100%. I finally deleted everything and I'll reinstall it later, once they have issued a few more patches. :D

Good thing I made a copy of 1.6 on a different drive. If this download fails again, I'll just wipe the game and do a clean install. If only it wouldn't take me 24 hours every time with my crap connection
