Hi all!
Will I be able to install the game tomorrow without the activation key? I've ordered a physical version in a steelbook with some gadgets and I will not get it delivered until December 10th. So can I use early download, get the basic files to just activate the game after the premiere and download only the day-one patch?

Czy ktoś z Was wie, czy mogę zainstalować grę bez klucza aktywacyjnego? Zamówiłem fizyczną wersję w steelbooku z paroma gadżetami i przesyłkę dostanę dopiero 10 grudnia. Czy mogę skorzystać jutro z udostępnionego przez CDPR wcześniejszego pobierania i po premierze tylko aktywować grę i pobrać już tylko sam day-one patch?

Short answer, no.
Unless you have bought the game here or have a key, how do they know you are a "legal" owner of the game? There is no (business/monetary) reason to stress the servers by allowing just any one who wants to to download the game.

I don't wanna play this game, I just wanna download it ;) But you're right, I understand that servers are more important,
especially during the premiere :) THX

#1 Your "Stress" argument is stupid. The encyption is very heavy. So nobody will download it, if he don't buy the game. The stress level will mostly the same, because all the people with the pc downloadkey box, will download it on the arrival day. So the stress will have a higher peak on this day.
#2 CDP make us, who buy it physical, second class gamer. Because they don't give us a preload. Other companies, like square enix, give us a preload key and give the resellers preload key. So that we don't have to wait and that is even worse.
#3 CDP has some option in the past, like give all physicals an "USB-Key" Version. A special designed stick, with the game on it and the key printed on the back. They even can have less waste and a very cool package. But no they stick to the dvd box and don't think about the preload for this gamers.
