I seem to recall that the latest official version of the Baldur's 2 game was 26498.

- what is the version of the BG2 game that we get through GOG ?
- are any official (Bioware) patches needed ?
- if yes, since the official Bioware support pages for the Baldur's Gate patches are broken (sighs Bioware, what did happen to you since the EA fiasco), where can we get them ?

I just wanted to mention that I did some digging through the old BG2 Bioware site/forums, for other purposes than looking for the patch.

The old forums are OOOOOOH so nicer, more professionally done, more user-friendly than the new (social) ones, and guess what I found :

PS : I really hope Bioware will see the light again one day.

I've just recently bought the 4 in 1 box set but the Bioware link for the patch seems to be broken. Is there any alternative? Seems like it has trouble starting without the latest update :(
