hi all,

probably a stupid question but what do i have to do to run in baldurs gate? if possible to "always run". i have not found a checkbox, a key to activate running and the double-click does not work either.

You can't run at all in BG1. The closest you can do is to speed yourself magically (3rd level wizard spell 'Haste', potions of haste, boots of speed).

In particular, you could use cheats ( http://iesdp.gibberlings3.net/appendices/clua/bg1.htm ) and create six copies of the boots of speed (code: boot01), give them to your characters, and imagine that your characters are running.

If you go to the game settings and set the AI updates per second to its highest setting it increases the speed of the entire game, as long as you have your auto pausing set up correctly it doesn't infringe on playability and does get you across a map a lot quicker.
