Never played BG before and just bought BG1 and 2.

I'm excited to try the series, but I'm a bit confused about whether there is a conflict between using the Big World Project together with BGTWeiDU or EasyTutu.

I definitely want to be able to play BG1 and BG2 together using the BG2 engine, but isn't Big World Project the most comprehensive way to do this?

Do the other mods suggested in the sticky threads above (BGTWeidu and EasyTutu) conflict with Big World Project?
Let me know if you get BWP working. I tried it with a BG1&2 collection I had, and gave up after a few days of installing.

Let me know how it goes - I might give it another try!
EasyTutu is a way to play BG1 in the BG2 engine, but tries to remain faithful to vanilla BG1
BGTweidu is a way to play BG1 and BG2 as a single game, thus it's not compatible with Tutu.
The Big World Project as far as I've seen is essentially an advanced modloader which lets you choose and download mods and install them. I haven't tried the BWP yet, but I might give it a swing in the near future.
The only experience I have is Tutu and BGTWeidu. I prefer BGT though, but that's just my preference. I like the way it packages the games to be like a single huge game.

Just read the readme's as a lot can go wrong if you do things in the wrong order.

:edit: The Big World Project is a great idea, but it doesn't work that well yet. When I tried it, it wouldn't install some of the mods. A lot of errors were caused and I could start over. When I manually install mods, it's more time-consuming, but in the end, more works the way I like it. It could be a bit overwhelming as well, as a LOT of mods are included in the BWP.
So it's a great idea, but doesn't work that well yet.
