Whenevr I try to install the game, the pop up comes up saying "Install, Read Me, Movies" etc. I click Install, and the program just shuts down. Not running at all, I have tried running as admin (Even though this is the admin account), running in compatibility mode, running in 256 colours, the usual stuff that fixes this bogus behaviour.

So, help?

The GOG installer doesnt have any of these options. Sounds like you're trying to install a CD version of BG2. Totally different things. GOG games are customized (no DRM, custom installer, etc).
