I accidentally picked "delay Higher Level abilities" when installing the tweak pack... is there anyway to manually undo this?

It will not affect your character's stats in the slightest, no. The 'Delay High Level Abilities' tweak just moves the bar for the start of gaining HLAs.

I have what seems like a novel problem, I can't start a BG1 game from the Modified BG2 menu.
I performed these actions:
There should be 3 buttons that greet you on the first menu screen - "Baldur's Gate", "Throne of Bhaal", and "Quit Game".
Click on "Baldur's Gate".
Then click on "Single Player".
The menu that comes up after will have "New Game", "Load Game", "Back", and "New BG2 Game".
Click on "New Game" to start from Baldur's Gate 1
The game starts in the Cages with the magic experimentation dungeon, ala BG2. Not in Candlekeep.
This is on the GOG version, with fully installed Baldur's Gate: The Original Saga and fully install Baldur's Gate II Complete.
Last, I ran BGT in the BG2 folder.
Any ideas how I can start a new BG1 game with this mod?

Does anyone know where you can get a mod make the dialogue fonts Bigger for BG2 classic version? Every link I tried is dead.
In all honesty I think GoG should provide actual mod support on the Game page for games that have mods at least ones that make using these older game palatable at higher resolutions. I get that GOG might not want to get into the issues of mods but with Steam doing it GOG should consider doing so as well. It is such a pain to try and hunt down mods that really are essential to make the game viable with todays technology.

Baldur's Gate 2 is a 15 year old game, and most of the mod authors have left the scene; very few are maintained today. There is no way GOG can give support for mods whose authors are long since gone, or have no interest in maintaining their work.

I disagree gog could ask mod authors if they could host their mods so that mods that actually make the game viable with modern technology, don't disappear for GoG customers. Nothing is stopping GoG from hosting the bigger font or wide screen mods of games. in 2010 their was a larger BG modding community than now which is understandable so it wouldn't have been impossible to contact some of these authors and ask for hosting permission. The older the games get the harder it is to obtain the mods so it become more important for GoG to try and preserve these mods for their customers. At least that is my opinion.

Will try here instead of a new topic.
Finally got BGT working in linux. Have installed fixpack, bg1ub, (bg2)ub, tweaks, bgt, widescreen and bp-bgt-worldmap. Have played some hours after starting a new savegame when everything finally worked. However, I then recalled the NPC Project mod. Not interested in more interjections and romance and all that fluff, but would be interested in sending NPCs back to an inn. Can I install only that part of the mod, or will it mess up the saves if I apply another mod now?

Note that you cannot install *only* the wait at an inn component. The core component will always install. Also note that the readme states that the wait at inn component is for TuTu and BG:EE only.

Odd that it works for Tutu but not BGT. Decided to try it anyway, with some additional stuff, like BG2 portraits (didn't work for Imoen though, since I've already met her). Tweaks were installed prior to these changes, but I hope that won't mess things up. It's gone well so far at least, and the BG2 portraits 'took' for Edwin and Minsc. The main thing I wanted was the "Gather at Inn" segment, but I've got the group I want to use now anyway, so hopefully won't miss it.
There is one odd thing I noticed, though. I've not made any weaks so that stores can't identify (all) items, but I see that some items can't be identified in stores. Could the NPC mod have messed this up somehow? For instance, the merchants in the carnival can't identify a wand I found (probably lightning) nor the pantaloons.
