Kinda feels like the LAST game that needs to be on the Dreamlist, but hey, here we are, and I assume it's some sort of joke. A good one @GabrielPBR, you make Todd proud.

While it may seem that the 2011 version of the game is obsolete in wake of SE version, the original Skyrim has one advantage that for me is rather important - it lets user disable DLCs, which allows for a playthrough that's more in line with how Skyrim was designed at launch. No more Dawnguard asking for you to join them in the middle of a dragon crisis, no more Miraak's cultists attacking you just as you get down from High Hrothgar. The DLCs were designed as continuation of Dragonborn's story and their merging into the base game in SE is rather immersion breaking. Let's preserve the true history of how Skyrim was at the very beginning.

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim... a great classic, that I never got to play, until the Special Edition, which became "Special Edition AE", which probably still doesn't count if you want all the new modern mods... so you better just buy "Skyrim: The Whole Entire Anniversary Edition... No Really, We At Bethesda Promise This Time, Pinky Swear, With No Fingers Crossed Behind Our Backs! Edition... Edition." How many dang "Editions" must there be until we finally reach the "Final Edition", Bethesda? This is why I am interested in the Good Old Game that should be "Skyrim: Legendary Edition". GOG, please help us get access to the original ... Legendary Edition ...! On this page, we are just talking about the OG Skyrim Legendary Edition... Right? ... Right?
The last DRM free bethesda game! Well, I think anyway. Equally importantly the original release + dlc have a charm the remaster looses out on for me. The remaster is generally considered superior to the 2011 release with better performance on modern hardware and "slight" graphical improvements and of course theres the modding scene. But Oldrim keeps the old clunk and charming 2010s style that I very much enjoy for vanilla playthroughs, and more recently it has the added benefit of never having to worry about bethesdas updates that screw with the file size and mod shop in the remaster. Would totally pick up a gog copy for the DRM free install. Skyrim 2011 is the "Neatest" game of the generation and a true classic that gets truer for every inconvenient update download the remaster gets.

Hey, it's the original Skyrim. This game could take only 7GB on my drive. This is not nostalgia, this is common sense. I don't need better water and an armor set for additional 23GB. Please it's my birthday :)
Without doubt the ultimate medieval fantasy RPG, how can you not get lost in the tundra, marvel at the sunrise over Whiterun, when you return exhausted from a night spent in a dungeon. This walk near Dawnstar, where the mother of the night hides, Skyrim where you create another life, full of adventures, dragons and wealth.
