This game is currently lost media, yet its story is so canonical that in Xenosaga Episode III, they tried to cram as much summary of its story into a segment on the final planet as possible to catch you up on one of the party member's backstory. That's as good of a reason for preservation as you can get. Update: As of 2025-03-17, Pied Piper is no longer lost media. Thanks to Keitai Wiki for their preservation effort and helping me in documenting this game more in-depth on MobyGames.
