It was the first Xbox Live Arcade-game that I ever played, back in the day of the Xbox 360. The soundtrack and the arts style of this game are outstanding and create such a rush of emotions of happiness and adrenaline, that it was indeed very hard to stop playing. It's a very authentic and faithful adoption of the comic with the same name and should be preserved for the generations to come.
I gave this a try after really enjoying the movie, and it was so good that it inspired me to go out and buy the comics, and I am not a comic gal; my entire collection consists of Scott Pilgrim, Bone, and number of random Mario and Far Side compilations. I had a blast solo and co-op, and it's like a faster River City Ransom with tighter design, more special moves, and a soundtrack so incredible that the composer was called back to make the music for the new animated series. It's a lot more approachable than most oldschool Brawlers, too; if you run out of lives, you can go right back to the last section you reached and continue from there. I'd love to see it here, because anywhere else you get it, Ubisoft tacks on their launcher, so you're running it through several launchers at the same time, which is just ridiculous.

Neon Genesis Evangelion
Neon Genesis EvangelionThis game is an interactive adaptation of Neon Genesis Evangelion for N64. Called Shinseki Evangelion in Japan, the Gainax-produced anime series originally aired from October '95 to March '96 and soon spawned a feature movie release in '97. The N64 game starts in the year 2015, 15 years after Second Impact. The Angels have returned and suddenly attack Tokyo-3. Using so-called "terror-fields" that cannot be penetrated by ordinary weapons, the Angels are taking on every human force sent out to oppose them. That's where you come in. As the pilot of the NERV-designed Evangelions, Shinji Ikari, you take your giant humanoid combat mech into battle with the Angels. Gameplay can best be described as interactive anime, as it relies heavily on timed button presses.
