Easy to learn, hard to master. Better feeling than in Wipeout etc. In my opinion even better than in Rollcage Stage II. One of the fastest racing game. Less amount of powerups, doesn't mean it's not sufficient. Nice tracks with hidden shortcuts and destructive elements which make usage of unique shape of cars (they can continue the ride upside down). I also love additional modes with fights on arenas (unfortunately it is available only in multiplayer mode). Simply game of my life. I would love to see it on gog.

Between this and Wipeout on PS1, the soundtracks were absolute bangers. I played the demo for this game to death. The spiritual successor to this game, GRIP, is ok but just can't compete with the real deal. ROLLCAGE
Everybody remembers Wipeout as the Psygnosis racer, but this was their number two and it was a strong one. Honestly, I prefer it to Wipeout. It's not only faster, but it's not as slippery. There's nothing like shooting down a tube at 500mph after a well-timed double boost. Environmental destruction is amazing, too -- there's lots of fun to be had in shooting a missile at a building's support structures and bringing the whole thing down on top of your opponents.

So many memories with this game...so many evenings spent rolling. Awesome soundtrack, slick and fast tracks and destructible environment. I really hope GOG bring this title back!

Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.

Midnight Race Club: Supercharged!
Midnight Race Club: Supercharged!Midnight Race Club: Supercharged! is the second racing game from the developers behind the notorious Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing. Unlike Big Rigs, it has proper collision detection, unintentionally removing one of the quirks that made the previous game famous. Midnight Race Club was originally intended to be a single package along with Big Rigs, but GameMill decided to split the two early in development. For this reason, both games share an identical UI and near-identical gameplay.
