I have played this game in XBOX and Playstation 4 but I would like to play it in my PC. I know the game is available in steam, but let´s be honest, the steam version sucks. The steam version is very bad optimized.
Why Resident Evil 1 Remake Is the Best Horror Remake Ever (and Deserves to Be on GOG) The 2002 Resident Evil Remake is more than a visual update—it’s a masterclass in reimagining horror while honoring its roots. Rather than simply remastering the 1996 classic, Capcom rebuilt the experience from the ground up, transforming every facet of the game to heighten the tension and fear. Here’s what sets it apart: • Atmospheric Overhaul: The remake’s use of photorealistic backgrounds, dynamic lighting, and claustrophobic set pieces creates an immersive environment where every shadow hides a new terror. • Innovative Gameplay Enhancements: Tightened controls, improved inventory management, and refined puzzle mechanics elevate the survival experience, demanding both strategy and quick reflexes. • New Scares and Added Depth: Iconic additions like the Crimson Heads—zombies that return more viciously if not properly neutralized—keep players perpetually on edge, while expanded story elements, including Lisa Trevor’s tragic subplot, deepen the narrative and emotional impact. • Faithful Yet Bold: It respects the original’s essence, ensuring longtime fans experience the same terror they remember, yet it boldly updates the horror elements to resonate with modern gamers. By releasing the Resident Evil 1 Remake on GOG, fans would enjoy a DRM-free, optimized version that celebrates gaming history. GOG’s commitment to preserving classics means that one of the greatest horror remakes ever can be enjoyed for years to come—untainted by online restrictions or outdated technology. Resident Evil 1 Remake isn’t just a game—it’s a timeless benchmark in horror, and it deserves every chance to scare, thrill, and inspire all over again.

This was the very first iteration of the "Resident Evil" series I have played. I remember how I have seen it at first at a lokal gamestore (now closed): Little me was looking througfh the rentable gamecube games and then there was this one. The cover pretty simple so I picked it up, tflipped the bnox over, wanting to read what it was about. There was only a picture of a zombie there. two or three screenshots and one single word: Terror³

L.A. Noire
L.A. NoireL.A. Noire is a neo-noir detective action-adventure video game developed by Team Bondi and published by Rockstar Games. It was initially released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on 17 May 2011; a Microsoft Windows port was later released on 8 November 2011. L.A. Noire is set in Los Angeles in 1947 and challenges the player, controlling a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer, to solve a range of cases across five divisions. Players must investigate crime scenes for clues, follow up leads, and interrogate suspects, and the player's success at these activities will impact how much of each case's story is revealed. The game draws heavily from both the plot and aesthetic elements of film noir—stylistic films made popular in the 1940s and 1950s that share similar visual styles and themes, including crime and moral ambiguity—along with drawing inspiration from real-life crimes for its in-game cases, based upon what was reported by the Los Angeles media in 1947. The game uses a distinctive colour palette, but in homage to film noir it includes the option to play the game in black and white. Various plot elements reference the major themes of detective and mobster stories such as The Naked City, Chinatown, The Untouchables, The Black Dahlia, and L.A. Confidential.

Grandia XtremeGrandia Xtreme is the first Grandia game to be originally released for Playstation 2. Its combat system is virtually the same as in the previous two games, a mixture of strategic planning and combo attacks. Your party members can run around, avoid enemy attacks, and their attack power depends on their distance from the enemies. Grandia Xtreme is heavily based on combat, with more dungeons, more fighting, and less story than the two previous installments of the series.
