One of the best selling Norwegian made games—and it's not even preserved.
Because of its CD-Cops DRM it is impossible to install and run the original game form disc onto modern hardware let alone that you need a CD drive. All of the games updates have been removed from the developers website.
I would like to see a collaboration between Good Old Games, Caprino Video Games and The National Library of Norway to properly preserve the game and make it easily available for everybody.
One of my favorite games growing up with many memorable moments.
It has a lot of great and fun mini-games, some easy and calming while others more challenging and fast paced.
Getting it to run on modern systems is quite a hassle so having it on GOG would be great to experience the game again and for new people to discover it.
This game is a cultural milestone to the Norwegian people absolutely equal in stature to Heroes of Might and Magic, Disciples, and Gothic. It's a wonderful collection of minigames that are easy enough for children to play, and hard enough that adults can obsess over them, all of which are lovingly rendered by artists who truly cared for the setting and its characters. It is at risk of becoming lost media, and so aside from its incredible cultural importance and appeal to all ages; it deserves a chance to avoid being relegated to a few happy memories. The world would be poorer if it was lost, and people outside of Norway deserve to have a taste of an almost entirely unknown part of the world's games industry - with a game full of charm and beauty.
This game belongs to a series of games that define my childhood. Fun and challenging, and if need be I would gladly be first in line to help get the dialogue going between GOG and the creator!

Wizardry I & IIWizardry I & II contains the first two installments of the Wizardry series: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord and Knight of Diamond. Both games were ported to the PC Engine (TurboGrafx) CD console with various enhancements, unreleased separately. In fact, the two games are merged into one, as the player is able to play through both of them continuously directly from the main menu.
Though the game(s) are rather faithful in gameplay and graphical design to the original computer versions, the enhancements are significant enough to consider this release a remake. Similarly to the NES / Famicom version, the dungeons have simple graphics, unlike the computer originals with their vector lines. Enemy sprites are also more detailed and occupy a larger portion of the screen.
A pre-made party of six is available to the player right at the beginning, consisting of characters with generic names ("Fighter", "Samurai", etc.); creating own characters (unlike in the modified PC Engine CD version of Might and Magic), however, remains possible. Dungeon navigation is accompanied by orchestrated CD audio music in this version. The battle music is in PSG format.Fantasy

The game uses a turn-based combat system with a new mechanic that will change the enemies element as time passes. Outside of combat various places of the school can be visited and new items or weapons can be crafted from things found in the dungeon.
