Gleeful euphoria. The absolute apex of my childhood. This game was so alive, eclectic, sophisticated and innovative. It really felt like a dream world... but so tangible, like a diorama with a warm pulse. For a timeless peer-to-peer multiplayer game with millions of community levels to lie dark, silent and inaccessible is very sad.
I'm not sure how to put this, but my boyfriend-at-the-time and I were dating a girl together (don't judge us!) and when we weren't otherwise engaged this game had us -hooked-. It was so happy and playful and the music was incredible. It was a blast to play with friends and even though the threesome didn't last (I married my boyfriend, tho!) the memories of this game are something we still talk about. But that music!!
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of CortexCrash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is the fourth mainline series game and the first to feature Crash Bandicoot on the PlayStation 2. It was later ported to the GameCube and Xbox, making it his first multiplatform appearance. Crash Bandicoot: WarpedCrash Bandicoot: Warped is the third game in the Crash Bandicoot series and the first to feature Coco as a playable character.
