Lisa is not a game that will make you feel good. It is a game that will make you think, and compel you to keep thinking. Much of it does appear to be at first in flagrant contrast to the atmosphere it provides, but what are you supposed to do when the rules are gone and everything seems to be bleak.
Outside are mutants warped by a drug gone horribly wrong, and inside isn't much safer either.
