This game I only had a short time with back in the day but it had some fun world building to it, and I'd love to get back it back to fully experience it ideally without any of the micro it had back in the day. The game also had a connection with their prior game where you could earn some progress by just playing Iron Grip: Warlord and gain some rewards from it as a combined ecosystem for something special back in the day. The grindy time investment is what put me off playing it a ton, and of course the company going under all but sealed my play time of the original for likely only a few hours. Strip it down into a less grind game for a casual Pve style mode, and then a more serious version for PVP content would be a way to have a preferred experience. Given the game died the year I found it I'd very much like to have a chance to play through what content was there even if the story line obviously would end eventually. As for what game it was think of it as something of a turn based strategy game with some base building in the background. It used to have an auto combat system but towards the end it ended up something like Advanced Wars but without the direct unit building in the field, and even had some boss content I didn't get to try.

Final Fantasy VI
Final Fantasy VIFinal Fantasy VI first debuted in 1994 as the sixth instalment in the iconic Final Fantasy series. Innovations included the ability to play all the main characters as the game's protagonist, and to this day, its epic story intertwining each of their fates is still highly rated and wildly popular. With plenty of abilities available and the magicite system for controlling spells/summoning, players can develop their characters any way they want. This was also the first Final Fantasy game to include the Ultima Weapon, the most powerful sword of all and a recurring item in subsequent titles within the series.

Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy VIIIFinal Fantasy VIII is the eighth main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The gameplay makes a departure from many series standards. While it still uses the Active Time Battle system, it deviates from the series' traditional means of boosting a character's power via leveling, although levels are not completely abandoned as they were in Final Fantasy II. In addition, it does not have a Magic Point-based system for spell-casting. Instead, magic is collected, drawn, and created from items, and is used to power up the characters via the junction system.
