Although, not the best in the series this is a great game. I believe the developers were trying to relive the vibe from the first game. The graphics are good, the battle system is amazing, the story leaves a lot to be desired however. I imported this game from the US as I live in the UK. The first two games have been remastered, so I hope Grandia 3 gets the same treatment so more players can experience this great game.

It might not up to snuff with the first two games, but it is still a really good game. The presentation is excellent, the music by series mainstay Noriyuki Iwadare continues to impress, and the combat reaches a good balance in difficulty while still adding new elements that I think really do enhance the experience. The aching point is the story and characters. While not terrible by any means, you can definitely tell the devs had to wrap things up with what time and budget they had left. So by about a quarter through the game, the story switches to an entirely different plotline that doesn't really add to the overall theme. But even if the characters are drier and less interesting than the first two games, they're still fun and memorable. Grandia 3 is one of the last great JRPGs of the 6th Generation (the BEST generation of games). Yet aside from a quiet port to PSN on the PS3, this game has never been re-released. A remaster collection between it and Grandia Xtreme would be ideal. It deserves more love. <3
This is one of the shorter JRPGS of the Ps2 Era but like the first 2 main searies games it had stile and substans. Good Sountracks and a good look with likeeble Charackters , a nice story followd up with a solid battlesystem. A must for GOG. There is nothing more to say.
