The Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and X/X2 versions on Steam are completely broken and dysfunctional on a fundamental technical level and you need to install a fan made mod just to have Japanese voices with English subtitles for FF X/X2. Square Enix handled their Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX and X/X2 ports so poorly and then they wondered why they didn't sell. And now they have released this three fold abomination that is the VII remake. It's like Square Enix is spitting us PC gamers in the face. Please release these games in a proper state on PC in their original states and with proper voice/subtitle choices. All these games need is the ability to run at high resolution and a bare minumum of 60FPS. No remakes. No UI changes. And certainly no story or gameplay changes.
The facial expressions on the original PS2 version were the best. Need I say more? The remastered version suffers from the problem of not having the original faces, and I would love to see the og faces again.

This is the Final Fantasy game that launched the Playstation 2 to huge fanfare back in the day. There was an affection meter between the lead character Tidus and his teammates that led to special cutscenes with the character with the highest affection, similar to Cloud and the Ferris Wheel scene in Final Fantasy 7. An evergreen cinematic RPG experience. Should be released with X-2, it's direct sequel.

I played once, but i heard that the steam version port is really bad, so i was wondering, if GOG can make this happen. Please, one of my games colections is incomple without this one.
If gog does this (and they should), offer the classic original version and the remake, but give people the option to choose. Don't go the D&D game "enhanced" route and force people to pay more for options they don't want.

I played this with my girlfriend, who now is my wife. We loved it and we still have fond memories of it. One of the best RPG games on its time. Some characters are truly memorable.
Why Final Fantasy X Should Be on GOG – And Why It’s a Top 3 Final Fantasy Game Final Fantasy X is more than just a classic—it’s a turning point in the JRPG genre and a shining example of storytelling, emotion, and innovation. Released in 2001, it was the first Final Fantasy game on the PlayStation 2 and the first to feature full voice acting and fully 3D environments. From its heartfelt story to its strategic turn-based combat system, FFX set a new standard. At the heart of the game is the powerful, emotional journey of Tidus and Yuna—a story about sacrifice, fate, love, and letting go. The Sphere Grid brought deep character customization, the CTB (Conditional Turn-Based Battle) system added tactical layers, and the world of Spira was unlike anything seen before. So why should it come to GOG? Because Final Fantasy X deserves a DRM-free release that allows fans to own it forever, free of launchers or restrictions. GOG is the perfect platform for those who appreciate game preservation and offline accessibility. It would allow a new generation—and long-time fans—to enjoy this masterpiece on modern PCs without compromise. Why top 3? Because it blends memorable characters, emotional depth, and timeless gameplay into one unforgettable package. Alongside FFVII and FFVI, FFX defines what Final Fantasy is all about. Bring Final Fantasy X to GOG—let’s preserve this legend the right way.

(Coalition Against Totalitarian Society) which will presumably use the information to wrest control from Chegga. In selling this information, the goal is also to be gaining enough money to purchase a train ticket, leave this part of the world, and try to make a better life.

Dark Side
Dark SideThe game is set on the alien moon Tricuspid orbiting the planet Evath. Terrorists (the Ketars, the villains of the first game Driller) hijacked the moon's facilities and built Zephyr One, an immense beam weapon on the moon's dark side with the purpose of destroying Evath. The player is a government agent, sent secretly to the moon's surface with the mission of deactivating the weapon before it becomes fully charged. This is accomplished by destroying a power network in the form of ECD (Energy Collection Device) columns, dotted around the moon and connected with power lines all the way to the beam weapon. An ECD (Energy Collection Device) column. To destroy the ECD, the player needs to shoot the top part of the column. To complete the mission, the player has at his disposal an arsenal of beam weapons mounted on a jetpack equipped pressure suit. The aim is to destroy all ECDs in a specific order and avoid capture and death by the traps left by the terrorists. ECDs are connected to power lines and can only be destroyed when all preceding ECDs have been deactivated, otherwise they will instantly regenerate. The player has limited amount of time available to complete the game, based on the energy accumulated in Zephyr One. When the weapon is fully charged, the beam is fired destroying Evath and the game ends. As the player destroys ECDs, the charge accumulation rate is reduced, allowing more time for the player to complete the mission. The game's environment is displayed in first person view with the player seeing the world through the suit's helmet. A targeting crosshair displayed in the helmet's HUD allowing the player to fire the suit's weapon at specific locations. The player can move in all directions by walking or activating the jetpack. The suit is powered by an energy source that gets depleted with every movement and it is allocated between "shields" and "fuel". When the shields charge is depleted, the player is vulnerable to enemy fire and simply bumping into walls can end the game. Fuel is vital for horizontal and vertical movement and the game ends as soon as its depleted. There are a number of "recharge" points (in the form of columns) hidden in the game where the player can replenish the suit's energy supply. There are also a number of energy conversion devices that allow transforming shield energy to fuel and vice versa.

Fate/Extra
Fate/ExtraFate/Extra is a dungeon crawl style Japanese role-playing game. The game takes place in a parallel universe to the visual novel Fate/stay night. At the start of the game, the player may choose to play as either a male or female character, as well as selecting one of three Servants — Saber, Archer, or Caster, each with different strengths and weaknesses. Players spend one ingame "week" interacting with other characters, viewing scenes that advance the game's story, talking to their Servant in their room, and gathering clues to the identity of the enemy Servant. At the end of each day, they enter the Arena, a dungeon in which they can battle monsters to gain experience points and strengthen their Servant. The game's turn-based battle system is comparable to rock-paper-scissors -- "Attack" overpowers "Break", Break overpowers "Guard", and Guard overpowers Attack. During battle, both the player and the opponent line up six such moves at the beginning of each turn.

Nightmare Creatures
Nightmare CreaturesThe story behind Nightmare Creatures draws upon gothic horror elements of the 19th century. The story begins in 1666, when a devil-worshipping cult called the Brotherhood of Hecate were conducting sinister experiments in London so as to take over the city and then the world. The Brotherhood tried to develop an elixir that would endow them with superhuman powers. However, rather than creating their intended superhumans, their experiments created only grotesque monsters. When they decided to use these creatures as an army of conquest, one of their number, Samuel Pepys, set their headquarters on fire, resulting in the First Great Fire of London. The game takes place in 1834 when London falls victim to several evil occurrences. Monster sightings are reported along with news of people mutating into ungodly creatures, and that the dead are waking from their graves and walking amongst the living. All of London is in a panic and vulnerable to the schemes of Adam Crowley, a mad scientist and occultist enlisting the help of the Brotherhood.

Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy VIIIFinal Fantasy VIII is the eighth main installment in the Final Fantasy series. The gameplay makes a departure from many series standards. While it still uses the Active Time Battle system, it deviates from the series' traditional means of boosting a character's power via leveling, although levels are not completely abandoned as they were in Final Fantasy II. In addition, it does not have a Magic Point-based system for spell-casting. Instead, magic is collected, drawn, and created from items, and is used to power up the characters via the junction system.
