I grew up a huge Evil Dead fan and I was so excited to see it had a PS2 game! When I finally played it I was overjoyed, it more than lived up to my admittedly lofty expectations. I'd love to be able to go back and play this awesome game.
I remember going into my local gamestop with my parents and seeing this bad boy on the shelf, my brother showed me the movies, so I had to try this out. Good times.
This was my first evil dead game back on ps2, Army Of Darkness had been one of my favorite movies back in the 2000's. So i really couldn't resist renting this from Blockbuster and spending my Saturday in a dark room with nothing but my trusty ps2, and a boat load of candy. I played the hell outta this game, from the corny dialog of Ash to the crazy boss battles, i still find myself returning to this over the shoulder hack an slash adventure just to impale a deadite on the chainsaw and then introduce it's face to my boomstick. Definitely a game I would buy again on PC if it was ever ported, as the ps2 is a bit dated these days.
