The game was later released on several other formats such as the SNES, including a much upgraded version for the Amiga home computer. • Why do you want this game on GOG?
"Desert" and "Jungle" Strike were two games I had as a collection on a CD-ROM back in the mid-'90s and they were quite novel for the fact that you just flew a helicopter in an isometric view, going from mission to mission in something of a campaign-structure, as far as I can remember. - I think it was somewhat challenging, but at least pretty fun and varied seeing what would happen next with every mission. I knew about 'Urban Strike', but did not know "Soviet" and "Nuclear", which also look a bit different, existed. - Regardless, I think they should all be on GOG because they were quite solid old games, from a time when EA was rather known as Electronic Arts and Gremlin Interactive was still around. I honestly expected they would already be on here, but perhaps EA is still the factor as to whether or not they will appear on GOG. - I hope they will!

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd RunnerThe sequel to Zone of the Enders is based around mecha combat with the player once again controlling the "Orbital Frame" Jehuty. Unlike its prequel, the game is now centered on action elements with the player not needing to protect civilians in need and instead Jehuty contains more weaponry than in the previous game. The plot is set two years after the events from Zone of the Enders and focuses on Dingo Egret, a former member from Mars' military organization BAHRAM whose leader Ridley "Nohman" Hardiman wants back with him. Nohman shoots Dingo following his rejection but the agent Ken Marinaris saves Dingo by connecting his body to Jehuty and forces to work in order to defeat BAHRAM. The game had a new director, Shuyo Murata, who producer Hideo Kojima appointed in order to provide a different experience. The team worked to cover the criticism the original Zone of the Enders received resulted in The 2nd Runner having more action elements. The game received generally favorable critical response due to the improvements it has in comparison to the previous game. Critics praised the game's graphics and gameplay elements but criticized its short length and presentation. Despite the positive critical reaction, the game suffered mediocre sales. North American & Japan got regular ZOE2, but the regular edition of ZOE2 was never released in Europe. Europe directly got the ZOE2 Special Edition.

Advance Wars
Advance WarsJust because this battle fits in the palm of your hand doesn't mean the stakes are small. On the contrary, this all-or-nothing fight will have you accessing guns, grenades, launchers, and weaponry of all sorts. Players assume command of an army that's out to reclaim a world that's been broken up by warring factions. The battle map is essentially a grid, and moving units is like moving chess pieces on a board -- each of the units can move a specific amount of spaces within this grid, and can only attack at a certain distance from specific enemies. Advance Wars features more than 115 maps, a map editor, head-to-head play via link cable, and an easy-to-understand tutorial mode for beginners.
