It is, in my opinion, one of the best strategy games ever created. The whole series up until tiberium twilight are my absolute favorite RTS games. Ive played many RTS games throughout life and none of them quite compare to the C&C/Red Alert series.
Growing up I had no idea what an RTS was. I was introduced to C&C through my N64. I'd never experienced anything like it!
I hope it is introduced to many more generations as the years pass!
Some of the best games of all time. From the beginning C&C was engaging. I remember when C&C generals came out and I kept playing that over and over for years w/o getting bored. Definitely good time that need to be revisited. I STILL C&C Red Alert on Xbox to this day. 😃
It's the first RTS game I played. This game and the rest of the series is why RTS is my genre for gaming. Kane is my favorite character, there is no villain like him.
Tzar: Gold EditionThis release covers all previous Tzar games and scenarios, adding a new campaign as well as a map creator. This last feature allows for the creation of adventures with special events, conversations and rules and the ban of technologies and units at the player's pleasure.
