I still have only finished 2 or 3 out 6 routes because I'm afraid to clear it, it's my forever game. I like this game so much I've played it every year since release I'll do a few missions and forget where I am and what I need to do to continue on the route.
My most favorite on the series. Pretty difficult game but MAN is it fun. It somehow still has a small active PVP community. The building of AC is fun since it has tons of parts and it even has a secret First person mode when you finish the game. I really want people to experience this awesomeness!
Only recently this year finished the Zinaida route, and I get why this game has the reputation of hardest Armored Core game. Every mission is a game over, ACs using human plus that the player doesn't get in any form, the introduction of pulverizers and the AC fights just being generally harder than all of the other games. One big down for this game is the arena and having to ante before each fight. Lastly, the Leviathan ending was my first ending to this game.

My favorite Armored Core game hands down, well next to For Answer. Yes, it's the hardest game in the entire series, but it's also the most rewarding too as each playthrough makes you even more a badass mech pilot than you originally thought you were. Then you have Zinnaida, who might as well be Melenia on Ultimate Warrior's Steroid Stash laced with bath salts. The Final Pulverizer is especially my favorite final boss, as you feel like you're facing a world ending threat. Lastly the customization is the most robust the Armored Core series has been up to this point. I even made my own iteration of White Glint as it is one of my favorite mechas of all times.
If I could only chose 1 Armored Core game to get a PC port, it would be this one (with the content from the Portable release). It's customization is incredibly deep, the campaign is excellent, and oh baby the music is so good I imported the CD. I so badly want a PC port with functioning multiplayer.

Xenon
XenonXenon is a 1988 vertical scrolling shooter computer game, developed by The Bitmap Brothers and published by Melbourne House which was then owned by Mastertronic. Xenon was followed in 1989 by Xenon 2: Megablast. The player assumes the role of Darrian, a future space pilot called into action by a mayday report from his superior on a nebula space station. As of late, the colonies of mankind have been under attack by mysterious and violent aliens called the Xenites and it is finally time for Darrian to engage them. Unlike most scrolling shooters, the player can move in any direction instead of straight up. The player craft has two modes, a flying plane and a ground tank. The transition between crafts can be initiated at almost any time during play (except during the mid- and end-of-level boss sections, as well as certain levels where a certain mode is forced), and the mode chosen depends on the nature of the threat the player faces. Destroying some enemies released power-ups the player could catch to enhance their ship.

Jurassic: The Hunted
Jurassic: The HuntedJurassic: The Hunted is a fast-paced first-person shooter that sends players back through time, to pit them against the monstrous creatures that ruled the title era. Survival itself is the greatest measure of success, as the player is challenged to outgun and outsmart aggressive oversized enemies such as raptors, Triceratops, and Tyrannosaurus. Various game modes have players scavenging the prehistoric environment for useful weapons and equipment, defending makeshift fortifications under siege, and in all-out boss battles and arena fights against giant, ferocious opponents. A bullet-time styled "adrenaline burst" feature allows players to slow the action down during key sequences, for a one-time chance to take careful aim at a dinosaur enemy's most vulnerable points. The budget-friendly game puts players in the role of expert survivalist Craig Dylan, who has been hired to help protect a team of researchers investigating a temporal distortion on a heretofore-unknown island. When Dylan is mysteriously pulled backward through time to the era of the dinosaurs, he has only his wits and his weapon skills to keep him from becoming some terrible lizard's lunch.
