kuebk: Yes I can imagine, but I don't really get a point since AFAIR downloader is AIR-based since its began.

It was much easier and quicker for us to create the downloader using AIR than actually the application from scratch. I should highlight the bit "for us" as that was key to it. The downloader will remain optional and we don't yet know what other features we'll add to it. Any ideas are always appreciated in the features wishlist thread ;)
