Standing the test of time.


<span class="bold">Caesar</span> & <span class="bold">Caesar II</span>, two solid building blocks of the city-building genre, are now available, DRM-free on GOG.com!

From the ancient, almost-top-down visuals of the original to the far more detailed isometric cities of Caesar II, these are the games that successfully introduced a strong historical context into the city-building strategy games. Aspiring to become Caesar is the ultimate motivation but bettering the lives of your little Romans by setting up sensible infrastructure, proper entertainment, or impressive monuments, never stops being fun.

Dungy69: So it has been 3 weeks of Activision classics in a row.
Swat 4, Freddy Pharkas, and now Caesar 1 & 2.

Here's hoping the following weeks will be:

Hi-Res Adventures 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6, and Softporn. :P

Sierra adventure games defined my childhood.

Softporn is actually part of the Leisure Suit Larry collection we got floating around :P

HunchBluntley: I can't help with the file, but somebody linked to this in another thread. (It requires Flash, though.)
Note that in the game, it's not on a constant loop like that. But it can get annoying all the same if you don't/can't fix the problem fairly quickly and have to hear it repeated a few times.

Reload and click on the "Play" symbol. I had that too when I first tried it :)
