Guys, could you please compare your download speeds in Galaxy to:
- Download speed for in-browser (or some downloader) website installer download from https://www.gog.com/account
- Download speed for other non-GOG stuff

OldFatGuy: Well it's definitely something going on. I've tried to DL multiple games and the speeds are all less than 10% of what I normally get. I hope this isn't the new norm.
Could you confirm this too? Please check downloading speed in browser (not gog downloader) from https://www.gog.com/account and same installer in Galaxy Client.

Actually they're approaching each other at 250,000 mph (400,000 km/h). ;)

jsauerii: BTW I forgot to check the browser, it is cranking out 1.2MB/s as well as was the GOG down loader.
GOG Galaxy is seriously broken.

Also for what its worth it will jump to the max when it first starts but then drops, its like galaxy kicks in a throttle or then starts doing something to slow it down to no end within the program.
Thank you for report. Do you think it started in recent weeks, or was it always like that?

I won't go into details, but we're not throttling anyone on purpose. ;) Unless you checked bandwidth limit option in Galaxy 1.2 settings.

Thanks for all your feedback, you're awesome users. :) Giving some tests jsauerii and OldFatGuy did additionally, our team will be able to know what to fix. :)

Certainly it's not a desired situation, that someone have lower dowlnoad speeds in GOG Galaxy Client - I hope it will get better soon!
