Oh man, the X-Men arcade game. One of the all time best arcade brawler games. Great cooperative multiplayer with 6 playable characters inspired by the Pryde of the X-Men cartoon! I love that they included Dazzler. The game also has a decent selection of bosses, the White Queen, Pyro, Magneto, Blob, and Juggernaut are from the cartoon but they also included Nimrod and Wendigo. Talk about an underrated evil mutant. All time classic. Perhaps my favorite super hero game of all time. Would love to see this one preserved.

I make sure to play this game at least once at MAGFest every year. The Colossus Roar is so ingrained in the culture of MAGFest that people still shout it to this day. If nothing else, I'd like to have a way for others to experience the game that compelled generations of people to randomly roar in unison in the Gaylord hotel for literal decades.
Those games also need your vote!

Valis II
Valis IIValis II has the same basic plot as its computer counterpart: Rogles, the tyrant of the magical world Vecanti, was defeated, and a new emperor named Megas is terrorizing its inhabitants. It's up to the Japanese schoolgirl Yuko to take on her persona of the Valis Soldier and vanquish Megas. Gameplay-wise, this version differs from the computer releases significantly. Though it has six stages that end with the same boss enemies, its level design, layout, and many regular enemies are different. This release also completely removes two key gameplay features of the computer version: the ability to equip different weapons and armor, and the flying side-scrolling shooter stages.

Valis III
Valis IIIAfter Yuko has defeated the evil Rogles, peace descended upon Earth and the magical world of Vecanti. But a new threat has arisen: an enigmatic man named Glames from the Dark World, possessor of a sword named Leethus, is planning to conquer both Earth and Vecanti, convinced that there is no other way to save his world from imminent destruction. A young girl from the Dark World named Cham escapes from Glames, and asks Yuko to help her stop him with the aid of her Valis sword. Like its predecessors in the series, Valis III is a side-scrolling platform action game. Unlike the previous installments, the player can control three characters in the game: Yuko, Cham (who uses a whip and fights similarly to Castlevania protagonists), and princess Valna from Vecanti, who is weaker physically, but can cast more powerful magic. Each of the characters can equip different weapons and has access to her own magic spells.

Legacy of Kain: Dead Sun
Legacy of Kain: Dead SunLegacy of Kain: Dead Sun was a cancelled action-adventure video game developed by Climax Studios for Square Enix Europe, with an accompanying multiplayer component developed separately by Psyonix. Leaks described Dead Sun as a story-based action-adventure inspired by Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (1999) (the second installment in the series) and Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda. The game featured an open world, and combined cinematic, violent combat with dungeon crawls, puzzles, and boss encounters. Links to past Legacy of Kain entries figured into the design, such as the shifting mechanic of the Soul Reaver titles, which enabled players to alternate between two planes of existence.

Legacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy
Legacy of Kain: The Dark ProphecyLegacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy was a cancelled Legacy of Kain game – the planned sixth title in the series, and sequel to Legacy of Kain: Defiance. It entered development at Ritual Entertainment in 2004, with consultancy from Crystal Dynamics, but production ended for unknown reasons after three to six months of work. The project was never officially announced by publisher Eidos Interactive, but its existence has been acknowledged by Crystal Dynamics' Chris Bruno and Daniel Cabuco, and by several artists formerly employed at Ritual Entertainment. Evidence of Legacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy's development was largely publicized by Legacy of Kain fan and community member, Divine Shadow, between 2008 and 2012, in the form of screenshots of Malek's Bastion in the Legacy of Kain: Defiance engine, and concept art of the pre-banishment Hylden. Kain was to feature as the main character in the game, much of which would take place in the Demon Realm, and would further the storyline surrounding the Hylden, the Hylden Lord, and Janos Audron. Targeted platforms included the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Microsoft Windows.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's AwakeningDevil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is a prequel to the first Devil May Cry. The game plays very differently from its predecessors, as it puts much more emphasis on style rather than simple demon slaying. As such, combat is much more intense and faster than before. An all-new Style system that allows you to select your fighting style has also been incorporated.
