This game was an attempt at true love from developer labor. Frank Klepacki put his soul into almost every sound he and his coworkers made. Divine Intervention lives rent free in my head the second I think of thinking of this game. Not to mention the color palette and the grim atmosphere of the apocalypse. PLUS You can literally step on enemy structures as a weapon as the Hierarchy! In other words, to me, this game is life, BRING IT BACK.

I played this game for a bit just before going for a job interview, to reduce my stress level. I didn't wind up getting the job, but it's an indelible memory I have of this game.

A great game from the Dark Ages of Strategy games. Seriously this game drips with personality, each faction is different, the story is interesting. I mean the creators really put work into this and I would love to play it again, easily.
It was a special game for me, unique factions, amazing music and I played it on both the 360 and on PC. It was one of the few games on the now defunct Games for Windows Live that stuck with me. The game didn't receive the balance that the community could have probably given it for it to last long term, but it had so much spirit. This game somehow worms its way into my head when I think of older RTS titles I sank an obscene amount of time into.

This game is special. Factions are unique. Music is fantastic. In terms of history this game should be made possible to play by new players, so they can experience nice story, rich gameplay.
I played this on the Xbox 360 back in the day and it was my introduction to the RTS genre as a kid. I managed to snag a copy recently and it’s exactly as I remembered: I straight up good ol RTS game with great factions, music, and gameplay.
It's a real shame this was stuck with Games For Windows Live - an online service which violently opposed letting you play online - as it is a rock-solid, old-fashioned RTS livened up by the three wildly different alien races trading shots on Earth while the tiny humans could only sit back and watch. The zippy Novus robots and Stargate-ish Masari were good fun to play as, but the Hierarchy and their massive walking crab-tank factories were *immensely* satisfying.

One of the og rts that sadly didnt make it long term. With music similar to c&c and their macro but with the most original factions ever was unbalance? sure, was fun? hell yeah

This is a great game with a great soundtrack! I never had the chance to play it on the PC, but I would love to! I still own it for my Xbox 360. Would love to play it again in better hardware. The three factions were pretty cool as well, each one of them having their unique flavor and playstyle.
i remember at some point going throu a random store as i usually go to the disks section to look for games that i might want to have at some point and i just saw this and thought (that looks cool, i want it) and my parents i guess were in a good mood then and bought me it. Then at home with my turn on my brothers pc popped it in installed. launched the game and didnt realise its an RTS and back then i was also occasionally playing starcraft 1, WH40K dawn of war and or C&C red alert 2. and outta them all i loved playing it more. i always favored the alien faction for how cool and menacing they looked with there design and gameplay style. But because i was still a kid i never completed the entire campaign. I still have the OG disk and box and would love to go throu the entire nostalgic memory lane and complete this game that i was fixated the most about.

Sim Theme Park
Sim Theme ParkLike the previous title, Theme Park World tasks players with managing a series of amusement parks. To do this, the player must choose how to spend their available funds, finding a way to expand the number and scope of their parks while remaining profitable. Income from the park can be used to purchase new rides or attractions, hire staff to maintain the park, and other similar functions. Various elements can be controlled by the player, such as the name of the park, the price of admission, the layout of the roller-coaster tracks, and the quality of food in the park restaurants. An ant-like announcer by the name of Buzzy, voiced by Terry McGovern in the American-tailored Sim Theme Park and Lewis MacLeod in UK release Theme Park World, helps the player with advice during gameplay.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

Shining Force III: 3rd Scenario
Shining Force III: 3rd ScenarioScenario 3, Bulzome Rising, stars Julian, a mercenary who appears as a secondary character in both Scenario 1 and Scenario 2. He is for all intents and purposes the true main character of Shining Force III. His initial motivation as the story begins is to track down and kill Galm, one of, if not the, most powerful member of the Vandals, a powerful race of beings that existed over 1,000 years ago. Julian believes that Galm killed his father and is seeking revenge. This story arc is first introduced in an earlier Shining game, Shining the Holy Ark, in which Julian appears as a young boy who asks the party to search for his missing father. Julian joins Synbios in the midst of his quest in Scenario 1, but after an encounter with Galm, he is tossed over a waterfall at the suspension bridge and believed by Synbios' army to be dead. He reappears in Scenario 2, apparently washing ashore at the site of a battle between Medion's army and the Bulzome Sect. Knowing the sect's ties to the Vandals, Julian agrees to fight alongside Medion. As it becomes clear that the sect is trying to kill Gracia, a child intended to become the next Innovator (A Shining Series figure equatable to a god), Julian takes on the task of protecting him and helping him realize his destiny. Scenario 3 starts about 60% through scenario 2's story, and focuses primarily on battles against the Bulzome Sect and their allies in both Aspinia and Destonia. While scenarios 1 & 2 happen at roughly the same time, much of scenario 3 takes place after both, but there is some "overlap". Eventually Julian leads a three-party coalition consisting of the armies of both Synbios and Medion, to engage in the final conflict against Bulzome, a powerful Vandal long sealed in another dimension, and the true orchestrator of the conflict.
