I used to play this game a lot when i was younger. Even today i still like the soundtrack and the game ambiance.
But there is something more important : this game has a sentimental value for me.
I know this game thanks to my aunt who liked PC games too. She also made me discover Age of empire and empire earth, some others games i still like today. My dear aunt unfortunately passed away years ago and i received this game as a memory of her, because she was the CD's owner i used to play.
I still have the game's CD today and i still cherish this game because it's still a memory of my beloved aunt and i still love to play this game.
Even if i still had the CD, i want this game on GoG so if something bad happen to the CD or if i loose it, i could still play the game and keep memories from my aunt who made me discover this game.
When I was a kid i used to play it with my dad , my brother also played it we always compete who is the best.. in it I loved that you could be a merchant or a pirate and also attack cities(it wasn't the best part but it was still fun to conquer). Pretty good game hope someday I could play it again or game which is also awesome like it especially if it would have some few players multiplayer. I used to play a few of old games I want this game on GoG to because games which I found on steam was in worse versions like for example Dungeon Lords(bad version, scam on CD key I have best version of this game) or just had trouble launching it like Gothic but still was worth the trouble. I had few but good memories with Pirates of the New World it made my childhood better than it was..If you like ships warfare trade goods and having few factions you may like it maybe you will find pearl in that game like I did back then
Bomberman: Party EditionBomberman Party Edition, known in Japan and Europe as Bomberman, is a PlayStation version of the 1983 game Bomberman. In addition to vintage graphics for single player mode, an option for enhanced graphics is added.
Battle mode is added to this release, which features 8 courses with 3 levels per course.
The single player mode is very similar to the 1983 release of Bomberman. The player controls the titular Bomberman in a wide area, full of destructible and non-destructible blocks. The blocks can be destroyed with bombs, and may contain a power up that increases Bomberman's walking speed, the size of Bomb explosions, the number of bombs able to be placed, or the ability to explode your bombs with the push of a button or to walk through walls or bombs. Some power ups are temporary, allowing Bomberman to be immune to bombs or monsters.
The point of each level is to destroy each monster, and then locate the door, which is located underneath a random block.
After every few levels, the player can play a bonus level. The player is invincible, and an endless stream of monsters is to be destroyed by the player. The point is to try to build up score until a bonus life is awarded.
Similar in design to Super Bomberman, there are a number of level themes in the single player mode.Action
