To this day fans come together regularly to share stories, fan works, and special community projects. The most standout project in recent years is in fact an unofficial port for PC and SteamDeck called Severed Chains, built by and for fans of the game. It would be great to see even a fraction of the port's features become official. Heck, hire the lead programmer Monoxide himself if Sony allows it but doesn't have the team to handle it. Edit: Thanks for the upvotes! Find the fandom on legendofdragoon.org and discord.gg/legendofdragoon . Get united!

Played this game in my childhood when everybody played Finally Fantasy. At the time I had troubles making friends since my father was a guardian for a facility and we lived there, outside of town, and although I went to school I had no neighbors to play with or hang out. This game made my life better these days, I still own the original disks for my PS1 (and the PS1 too) and I replayed it a couple times through my life. It's a comfort zone kind of thing, helps me when my life is hard. Plus it's really an awesome game in all aspects.

This game had an everlasting effect on my entire life. the music, gameplay, and story were all beautiful. the game had a huge impact on the taste i have for videogames to this very day more than 20 years later. I want this game on GoG because this wonderful game deserves to be preserved for future generations to see some of the first steps into 3D and the creativity developers had at the time.
I didn't discover this game until just before the PS3 came out, but was able to enjoy it on the PS2. I absolutely loved this game, especially its combat system. It not only deserves a PC playable version release, but also a full remaster that's playable on the PC through GoG.
Wow so many votes! Possibly because of the recent appearance on console again. This game holds a special place in my heart, as it was something I first played during a difficult time in my life with dealing with loss and change. The game was engrossing enough to distract, but also very fun to play and enjoy on its own merits. The combat and story are incredible. I still think that this game's story could be a blockbuster movie or tv series. This game is one of the few games I've ever played fully more than once, and the only game I've beaten three times. One of my treasures for sure. P.S. if Sony ends up reading this, I have ideas for a prequel and sequel 😉

I spent at least one summer playing through this and those are some of the nicest childhood gaming memories I've ever had. My first proper RPG. Since then I return to it every so often. Definitely a gem, would love to own it on GOG!
Played this game demo in my childhood along Finally Fantasy, definitely a gem, would love to own it on gog +gameplay, ost, story are solid and love to abel to play the full game on gog
One of the finest JRPGs on the PS1. I remember playing a little bit of it every night and then spending all lunch at school the next day talking to my friends about it, comparing how far we'd gotten and what we thought of the characters and events.

A friend of mine showed this to me the year it came out on PS1, and I had a blast playing it. While I had been playing Pokemon, this is probably the game that got me into actually playing RPGs/JRPGs. It's a classic game, that while it has it's jank (the voice acting is...a thing that exists), the gameplay is still great and I enjoy playing this game to this day.
What can I say about this game that hasn't already been said, it was the first jrpg I played for my ps1, it was my first experience with the turn based system what I didn't know was that you had to make your combos to attack which blew my mind. It is a game that playing as an adult you realize that it needs a remake or remastering to make it an excellent jrpg, but at the time it was a game that I enjoyed and that I have passed throughout my life more than 8 times. I have 2 copies of ps1 because one was given to me and another one I bought at gamestop, unfortunately my ps1 stopped working, and when I bought it for ps3 I had to sell my console to support me. So I was left without the way to play it, obviously I would buy it again because although it is not a perfect game is a game that I have a good time replaying it, hopefully it can be on GOG.
