I have no idea how this got over 1k votes over games such as Matt Hoffman BMX but i'm all here for it, i love this game so much, such a fun arcade horror original gameplay with a camera man following you around for a tv show with the host reacting to what happens, why don't they make cool original concept games like this today

Aw man, the game of my childhood, when i was kinda first introduced to games by my older brother. I was a kiddo who rocked at this game, i loved everything about it. To this day i remember the story of this game. The graphics, the zombies that were so scary to me back then (still kinda are tbh), and the fricking Polish voice acting, to this day i have every line that Dave and Deva shouts, absolutely amazing. And also the soundtrack, oh my god, to this day i get chills just listening it on Youtube. I don't think there is any game similar to this one, which makes me sad, bringing this peace of art would be so awesome.
My first game, straight up! It was 2000 or 2001, and I had just gotten 10 złoty from my dad, and man... The first thing I bought was this masterpiece. It came in the box with another CD with the soundtrack, which made my taste in music to this day. This American gothic-style satanic horror just blew my mind. I can't wait to play it again.

Very unique control system at the time. Very representative of culture at the time too. Really good game that can't be run on any modern PC and so this project needs to bring it back.

The game might be clunky, full of glitches (you could get softlocked without reason) but I still had a blast playing it, that's how much fun of a game it is. I hated the final boss, there was a section with a cutscene were you had no control over the mc since he was transforming into deva, but the enemies could corner you and attack you, the moment you could play again you were dead, and you had to start the fight from the very beginning... it got so bad that I had to slow the game down to heal up LOL. I love this game.

I love this game, still one of my favourite of all time, i try to play this game but windows 10/11 doesn't let me do it unfortunately, i love it so much that i try to collect all polish releases, i even got one from germany. The music, gameplay, voice acting, it all grabed me 20 years ago and still holds special place in my heart, really shame that i cant play it novadays, i beg you for release with posibility to play it on newer windows, i dont even need higher resolutions, i just need to sink in it again, please.
One of the first games I've played, and stayed with me over the years. Seeing that a lot of other classic games started to be remastered or remade, The Devil Inside would come in mind immediately, alongside Clive Barker's Undying or the first Silent Hill. Got this game in mid 2000s with the Romanian edition of the Level Pc games magazine. Back then I really enjoyed the story, the lore, the characters, the puzzles. It's was nice to be able to switch between the two main protagonists, Dave & Deva, which had different weapons and fighting styles, and enough ennemies to defeat. The gameplay felt challenging in quite few places, there are quite many levels to go through, and the lack of internet made it difficult at times, not having the posibility to check for an walkthrough. At it was great to share it with a friend, playing together with such a nice feeling when finally managing to pass through a difficult area or defeat a boss. There is a main bug in the early part of the game, after getting into the mansion's attic, first thing needed to be done is to save the cameraman, then clear the attic of the rest of the ennemies, otherwise the game gets stuck in that level and the elevator to basement can't be activated. Another thing, to make the game run, it required the CD to be present in the CD player unit while playing the game. On top of that, if the pc had only a C: partition, the CD player had to be D: in order for the game to run. Same rule in case of two partitions e.g. C: and D:, the CD player's assigned letter had to be E:. It worked the same with an .iso of the game and a virtual disc emulator. And although the game could still be played on Win 7, it's not working on the last Win 10/11. The workaround I guess is to play the game using a virtual box, with Win 7 installed. The graphics are dated compared with today's games, but still a lot of fun to play it, the gameplay is really enjoyable, remember the thrills of being cornered and beat it after kept trying.

Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 0Be prepared to relive the first nightmare in Resident Evil 0, a remastered version of the popular prequel to the original Resident Evil game. This remastered version takes the fear-inducing atmosphere from the original 2002 release and transforms it with stunning new HD visuals, improved sound, widescreen support and an optional modernized control system and more. It’s the best way to experience the story of what really happened before the iconic mansion incident that was the catalyst for the entire Resident Evil saga. The story of Resident Evil 0 takes players back to 1998. Reports have been mounting about unusual murders on the outskirts of Raccoon City. The city’s Special Forces division, S.T.A.R.S., sends their Bravo Team - including rookie cop member Rebecca Chambers - to investigate. On route, the team’s helicopter suffers engine trouble and is forced to make a crash landing, where they find an overturned prisoner transport vehicle. Splitting up to search the area, Rebecca discovers the Ecliptic Express, a train stopped dead on the tracks. Inside, she meets death row convict and ex-Navy lieutenant Billy Coen. Throughout the game, you will take control of both Rebecca and Billy, at times switching between both characters in order to proceed. Learning the advantages of each character is the key to solving puzzles and surviving the nightmares that lie ahead.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Snatcher
SnatcherSnatcher is a cyberpunk-themed graphic adventure game directed and written by Hideo Kojima and produced by Konami. The setting and story of Snatcher is heavily influenced by cyberpunk and science-fiction media, taking place in a large futuristic dystopian city. The story revolves around an investigator named Gillian Seed assigned to investigate a breed of bioroids known as "snatchers", who are killing humans and taking their place in society. The game is set in a primarily first person perspective and uses a menu-based interface that allows the protagonist to interact with his environment. The player can choose to "Look", "Investigate", "Talk", "Ask" and "Move" (in addition to other options) to acquire key items or receive vital information from other characters. The player can analyze items in Gillian's belongings or show it to other characters. During key points of the game's story, the player must pass shooting sequences to defend Gillian from assailants. These shooting segments use a 3x3 grid which the player can target to fire at enemies. A shooting trainer, called "Junker's Eyes", is accessible at Junker HQ that allows the player to measure their accuracy.

Virtua Cop
Virtua CopPlayers assume the role of police officers in a first-person perspective and use a light gun to shoot criminals and advance through the game, with penalties for shooting civilians. The players could also shoot powerups that grants him a weapon or a life. The weapon is lost if the player is hit, but not if he shoots a civilian. Virtua Cop was notable for its use of polygonal graphics, which were subsequently used in both House of the Dead and Time Crisis, instead of the two dimensional sprites that were popular for previous games in the same genre. It is also notable for being one of the first games to allow the player to shoot through glass. Its name derived from this graphical style, which was previously used in Virtua Fighter, Virtua Striker and Virtua Racing.
