As a teenager, i found out by sheer accident that the save game state does not include shops (shop inventory persists during reloads).
What followed were a few hours and cycles of crafting material duping and selling forged weapons to rack up money and resources. Then i could 'start' the game with equipment forged to the max and just breeze through everything
Haven't ever played it, but considering it is an old rpg from the golden era of rpg's it should definitely be on gog. And so should dispel, gorasul, nightstone, por: myth drannor, dragonfire.
