a fantastic entry in Jeff Minter's series of Tempest adaptations. The web felt a lot less static in this iteration, with some enemies even causing it to spin about on screen. And the visuals were quite lovely, with the substantial power of the hardware allowing for some wonderfully smooth, anti-aliased vectors.
sadly it's quite difficult to Tempest 3000 play these days, as the current state of Nuon emulation is far from ideal, and the actual hardware didn't sell terribly well.
