Everything about this game connects with me unlike any other. It has a vibe that's unique and it absorbes you.
It has slow motion, it has hacking, you can shoot the gun sideways, papapapap, and switch to pum pum pum with a scope and shoot trough walls, every gun has an interesting secondary mode like that.
The game incentivizes the player to combine every mechanic to do combos and these mechanics build on top of each other to great success.
Hard mode is a must to get the best experience.
To have this game on GOG is to give every people like me but couldn't, get the chance to play it.
Even though it's not an RTS game like its older previous entries, Syndicate is noteworthy for its developer. Before the staff jumped over to MachineGames and its current iteration decided to milk Payday for all its worth, Starbreeze was the king of narrative-driven FPS games. This...wasn't their best title, but it was interesting and still holds that Starbreeze DNA that would carry on over to Indiana Jones and Wolfenstein. It's, sadly, currently delisted, but deserves to be preserved, even if it isn't the best game.
The game is literally unplayable because EA SecuROM implementation bricked the .exe and configurations. Also, Vsync enable caused MouseLag and many issues that is mentioned in PCGamingWiki.
It's...bad! If GOG is gonna brought this game here, I hope they polished it up.
I had hundreds of hours into this game because of the coop. My dad and I played through all of the missions on normal, hard, and even two of them on very hard. Lots of good memories and would love to play it with him again if it can be released here with the coop mode intact.
It's an amazing game that I have played a lot on Xbox 360 with an intense gameplay and deep narrative and now, it has simply vanished from all the marketplaces...
please, make it happen! :D
The game is ass, but the opening mission is extremely good and should be experienced by everyone. Sci-Fi would that they created, plus the imaginative weapons makes this worth playing.
It's clear they ran out of budget by the end.
OK i know this was NOT the reboot people expected for the old cyberpunk RTS franchise of Syndicate... We went from puzzle-rts to first person shooter...
And yes, when i played it back in the days, i felt the story a bit cliché and predictable, but it did not matter because the global mood and atmosphere of the game and its universe were cool enough; the shooting was mindlessly and shamelessly satisfactory, and the boss fights were amazing afaic...
I remember having been super hyped up by the trailers and even though i knew i wouldn't get a "old syndicate" game reboot, i was counting the days from trailer to official release... Got the game for cheap too, and i played it like there were no tomorrow ! Until i completed it... and i had fun all the time (even if a couple of moments were tricky and frustrating.
Sure, later on we would get Deus Ex Human Revolution, but the stealthy stuff in that one, though good enough, was imposing a slower pace to the game... While Syndicate just delivered mindless action-packed fun without downtime or slow-pacing. Syndicate was an adrenaline trip with cool gadgets and tense boss fights; i wouldn't ask for more than that...
Would obviously replay it, especially if it were to become DRM free !

it works and don't work at all all the tips & tricks don't help at all.
I hope GOG can fix the bug so i can play this game a lone or with my friends in Co-Op mode!

Pipe DreamEach level of this abstract puzzler challenges the player to set up a network of pipes to allow an unspecified substance known as 'flooz' to flow through as many of those as possible. The pieces are offered in random order, and there are seven different types - straight lines going horizontally or vertically, corners rotating in each of the four directions, and cross-over pieces which carry the flooz straight across horizontally and vertically. Each of these can be entered from either side. When the flooz hits a gap, or a piece which the previous piece can't flow into, the pipe is finished.
Before the flooz starts flowing from its randomly-selected starting position, the player has several seconds to start placing pieces. They can be put down anywhere. However a situation that can often occur is there will be a long and complex piping arrangement set up, yet a gap somewhere remains to be filled. Players are able to replace a piece with another in the same square (to make it easier to flow the flooz that way), but for a slight scoring penalty.
GodzillaGodzilla is a strategy game in which you must command the military in an attempt to kill Godzilla before he destroys Tokyo. If Godzilla reaches Tokyo, the game is over. The game is a large grid on the map of Japan and nearby waters. There are 25 grids (7 of which contain Japan and one containing Tokyo.) Godzilla is randomly set in any of the 25 grids except the grid with Tokyo. The player has a choice of attacking Godzilla or moving troops. You are given a choice of attacking with a land attack, sea attack, air attack, a missile or an atom bomb. When choosing an air, land or sea attack you must choose how many troops, boats or jets you want to send out (you can only send out how many of the given attackers are in the grid that Godzilla is.) You can also move troops and boats to different grids as opposed to attacks. After an attack it will show the amount of attackers killed and how effective the attack was. (e.g. If you send out a sea attack it will tell how many boats were sunk.) After this Godzilla will move to another grid. If Godzilla is on land he will go on a rampage and it will show how many civilians were killed. The atom bomb is the most powerful weapon in the game. Whenever it is used it will destroy all life and weapons around the surrounding 8 squares. If the bomb goes off near Tokyo, the game is over.Horror
