Snowy: Treasure Hunter (2005)

by Aliasworlds Entertainment, Alawar Entertainment
Genres:Adventure, Platform, Puzzle
Themes:Action, Fantasy
Game modes:Single player
Story:The first in the Snowy: Treasure Hunter platform puzzler series of games has the titular bear travel to three worlds with distinct graphic themes; an Egyptian world, a Greek mythological world and the final Norse inspired world. Each of these worlds presents twenty different levels with an additional ten levels devoted to training. There is also another difficulty level and additional levels for kids. The objective for Snowy on each level is to collect all the treasures, some of which are buried beneath platforms, while avoiding the enemies. Other things to avoid are refilling pits that Snowy had dug, falling into his own mechanical traps, and, of course, getting stuck at a dead end. The player must use all the tricks in their arsenal to make sure Snowy doesn't get stuck while reaching for that last piece of treasure. Some levels will also need the player to locate a key before moving onto the next level.Show more

Moss
MossIn Moss, players can reach out, touch, and interact with the environment while guiding Quill through her journey. As a character within the world, players will work together with Quill to solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and conquer any danger that comes their way,” said Danny Bulla, co-founder and design director of Polyarc. “As gamers, we’ve been conditioned for years to hold a gamepad in our laps when playing games, letting our thumbs and fingers do the controlling. It has been a great experience to create an immersive game that encourages players to reach into and interact with a tactile world.
