Skunny: Special EditionSkunny: Special Edition

Skunny: Special Edition (1995)

Genres:Platform
Story:Skunny is a 32-bit DOS platform game featuring the anthropomorphic squirrel from six previous Copysoft games. Skunny apparently found a map on one of his recent adventures and now must seek out treasure in six locations around the world. In addition to the health bar, Skunny now has a time meter, though how much time is actually left is unclear. Skunny must collect 100 keys in each level in order to go through the exit, and also gets an extra life when he collects 100 coins. Skunny can still jump on bad guys and be killed instantly by spikes, but most of the gameplay seems to revolve around jumping into cannon-like barrels and timing when to shoot out of them. There are 6 worlds in this game, with only the first world playable in the shareware version.Show more

Whiplash
WhiplashAlthough Redmond (the rabbit) and Spanx (the weasel) are two animals chained together, the gameplay is much like any other platformer. The player controls only Spanx, using Redmond as a weapon or tool as the situation requires. Spanx has most standard platforming abilities, while Redmond is completely indestructible as a result of tests conducted upon him and so can be hurled into security guards, jammed into machinery, and used as a grappling hook, among other uses. Redmond can be inserted into special outlets to be set on fire, frozen, or become radioactive.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves
Sly 2: Band of ThievesSly 2: Band of Thieves is a stealth-action platformer developed by Sucker Punch Productions and released for PlayStation 2 in 2004. Players control Sly Cooper and his gang as they attempt to dismantle the Klaww Gang and recover the scattered parts of Clockwerk. The game expands on its predecessor with open-ended mission structures, multiple playable characters, and improved stealth mechanics. The story takes place two years after Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus. In the first game, Sly was becoming a professional thief, but in Band of Thieves, he is a professional thief, so he retains all of the moves from the first game. He also earns new moves and gains different items to assist him in his dark craft. Players might start a level as Sly, and then after completing a particular task, players switch to Bentley, and Murray, respectively.

Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu - Kanketsu-hen
Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu - Kanketsu-henSaint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu - Kanketsu-hen is an RPG based on the anime and manga series Saint Seiya. It was developed and published by Bandai in 1988 for the Famicom as a sequel to the first Famicom Saint Seiya game, Saint Seiya: Ougon Densetsu. This version picks up where the first game left off, with the Bronze Saints about to take on all twelve of the Gold Saints in order to save Saori before time runs out. The game remains faithful to the original story, to the extent that your options are limited if you try to choose match-ups that didn't occur in the show.

Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams
Tak 2: The Staff of DreamsThe gameplay is almost identical to the original Tak Game, whereas Tak's weapon is always on hand and mana is represented by feather count and not a meter. The game takes place in various locations, such as tropical forests, canyons, volcanic areas, snowy tundras and other harsh environments. There are also a number of dimensional stages, in the Dreamworld. Tak gets aid from animals, a number of which did not appear in the first game. In this game, Tak's juju magic is triggered by holding down one button and pressing combos of other buttons. Tak also earns juju powers gradually throughout the game instead of having to seek them out.
