The problem with the Steam version is the infamous June 2023 fumble. They made changes in such a way to show they don't care if they liked the word play of the red arm bands of the black egrets (regrets) and big band's beating among other stuff. If GOG can get a version with toggle switches for all that stuff that was altered back then including the original soviet announcer and the art compendium restored, it might be worth there being a GOG version.
