Story:Taking place after the 3D animated movie of the same name, the game allows the player to control Shrek, a huge green ogre, as he must rescue Princess Fiona from the evil wizard Merlin while finding his way through worlds full of crazy twists on familiar fairy tale characters. In this third-person action platformer, Shrek bashes and burps his way past various challenges, fighting creatures and collecting items to complete Good Deeds and unlock new levels.
Each world features six missions to complete save for Merlin's castle and two of the missions in every regular level involve either collecting hidden Easter Eggs or grabbing the evil fairies who run away as you approach. Other missions in a stage can involve tasks like defeating a boss or transporting characters to their destinations.Show more

We grabbed this game from a bargain bin on the day we brought home our Xbox and were expecting disappointing shovelware: Not at all. We had so much fun with this game, and are still quoting lines from it to this day. It's a game that looked at the original movie, saw its humour and the neat spins it gave to fairytales and really took it to heart. There is a LOT of heart and energy put into this game. The controls really keep shrek being an ogre in mind (you can grab, fart and burp) but are dropping him into mostly bright nursery rhyme and fairytale environments, creating a great contrast. The game rewards you for exploring each world, too. While the controls could be a tad floaty, it almost added to it? It suited Shrek. I'd love to play this again, the writers' freedom shined through to me as a kid so I bet I'd appreciate it on another level now

The Adventures of Batman & RobinThe Mega Drive/Genesis version, developed by Clockwork Tortoise and published by Sega, is a run 'n' gun where both Batman and Robin must stop Mr. Freeze, who plans to freeze Gotham City. In order to keep the duo busy, he also frees the Joker, Two-Face and the Mad Hatter, each one with their own agenda. The Joker celebrates his birthday wreaking havoc in Gotham and stealing diamonds, Two-Face tries to take over the city from above, and Mad Hatter is creating a robot army in his surreal lair.
The game can be played by two players simultaneously; one player with Batman, and the other with Robin. Both characters are identical in terms of playability, and both use batarangs, bolas, or shurikens in long-range attacks, while using melee attacks at short range. There are four levels consisting of several stages, mostly of a straight left-to-right traverse to the end where the boss awaits. In some levels the game switches to a side-scrolling shooter, in which the players must control the Batwings.
The game is regarded as being extremely difficult to complete, and also known for showcasing some of the most impressive special effects on the Mega Drive/Genesis. It also features a soundtrack by Jesper Kyd. This accounts for the relatively high quality of Kyd's compositions, as well as the fairly simple FM synthesized nature of the game's sound effects.Action
