Story:Rewrite is an all-ages rated Japanese visual novel developed by Key. The story follows the life of Kotaro Tennoji, a high school student with superhuman abilities who investigates supernatural mysteries with five girls from his school. Occultic;NineOccultic;Nine is an upcoming Japanese visual novel that is based on a light novel of the same name. The game is descibed as a "Paranormal Science Novel". The story follows nine idiosyncratic individuals. Little incongruities that occur around these nine eventually lead to a larger, unimaginable event that may alter what is considered common sense in this world. Despite being by the same makers and sharing a similar naming scheme, Occultic;Nine is not a part of 5pb's Science Adventure series of adventure games.

The point of view can be swapped between the main characters, a private detective hired to investigate some very suspicious pieces of art and a government agent assigned to protect the daughter of a Japanese embassy official stationed abroad, at any time to help solve the cases they are working on and interacting with each other at points to progress their stories. The game was ported to Sega Saturn and that version was then ported to Windows, with changes to the games content in both instances, resulting in a 15+ rating.
