Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles (2007)

by Cavia, Capcom
Genres:Shooter
Themes:Action, Horror
Game modes:Single player, Co-operative
Story:Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is the first natively developed for the Wii console. Unlike the other games focused on free exploration, this title is an on-rails shooting game with fixed movement and perspectives. While playing, the camera floats to different areas and players shoot enemies on the screen, picking up ammo, weapons and health kits in the progress. In some situations, the controller can also be used as a melee weapon or in timed sequences. Some levels feature multiple paths and there are regular checkpoints. At the end of a level, the player's performance is awarded by stars, which can be exchanged for weapon upgrades. The game supports the Wii Zapper and features cooperative gameplay for up to two players.Show more

The best way to play these are still on Wii, but man... I would absolutely love a way to play them on a PC! Even if it's as basic as just using Mouse Pointer controls
I love to play this game on computer instead of playing on console or paying basically 100 on PlayStation 5 because it’s locked behind premium. It is playable on ps3 and you can still buy it today. I just want to play it on pc

Oh man, this is literally with RE4 the game that most burned my Wii on that summer... Nothing would make me more happy than living this game again in my computer!!
istg i would be MUCH better at chronicles if it was a pc thing-- no for real. I love this game, I've been playing it on the PS3 (though i know it'd be better on the wii), i love the CAMP. the DETAILS, the CHARACTER interactions and extra stories!!
Yes !! I need it! I was play on consol wii when I was children and I have double box game. I miss this game ! Please and the same game Resident Evil Umbrella Darkside ! I don't want play on emulation.
I wanna see it on PC.

Well, what can I say? A game that already risks being lost today, born, conceived, and played across generations of consoles. Such a masterpiece, carrying with it perhaps the best years of our lives—memories of lighthearted, joyful, and carefree days. The only one capable of reviving it today seems to be GOG. They’ve already allowed me, like many nostalgic gamers, to dive back into memories with masterpieces such as the *Resident Evil* trilogy and *Dino Crisis 1* and *2*. These games let us unplug for a moment and return to being children, even if just for a little while. I trust in the GOG team for the preservation and relaunch of this and other games we deeply miss today. After all, GOG is also about this: a store that delivers emotions through classic, timeless games that are still incredibly enjoyable to play, just as they were originally envisioned and created.
Would love to play this, such a fun rail shooter. Wesker's narration is great. I have fond memories of this game, playing it and watching my father and brothers play it was entertaining. Hope they bring this soon!
Those games also need your vote!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
