This is what the creators of Outrun should have kept up with or brought back in today's time. I remember playing this game for the first time when i was a kid, my uncle brought it over with his Sega Genesis (back when SEGA still made consoles). As soon as the boosters kicked in it was like nothing iv ever seen before. forget need for speed, this game had you on your toes trying to make the right turn/moves to either not fall off the track, crash into other vehicles or hit the walls. if they did a remake of this game with updated graphics or something of the sort but kept true to its core it would without a doubt make the Top 10 chart for game of the year. AND DONT EVEN BOTHER CHANGING THE MUSIC, LEAVE IT HOW IT IS. The soundtrack for this game is beyond Bada$$. i still have it on my phones music list today, yes downloaded from long ago but i never lost this track (same with most FF/DMC/marvel vs capcom/MvsSF ) games. i have all the old school music from games that rocked. true fan at heart for the oldies. GoG its in your name so please bring this oldie back.

I didn't grow up with much, I got my Sega Genesis when one of my friends got their PS1 and they were gonna throw theirs out. Outrun 2019 was the first racing game I fell in love with. My uncle had it and I used to play it when we'd visit for holidays. There's a couple moments from my childhood where I felt genuine happiness at being able to beat a game for the first time; Sonic 2, Aladdin and Outrun 2019 are at the top of that list. Honestly I had the chance to play it again maybe 10 years ago and I still got the adrenaline rush at the beginning of every level when the starting tunnel is just long enough for you to get your max Power boost and take off. A full run doesn't take much time, just long enough to turn a bad day good. Music is sick too, I went through most of my school and adult years with those tracks bouncing in my head. If I could find a copy that I could verify was 100% genuine, I'd snatch it. GoG, if you're able to bring it into the fold If be eternally grateful and I'd buy it the day I found out it's in the catalogue.
Those games also need your vote!

Need for Speed: Underground 2
Need for Speed: Underground 2Need For Speed Underground 2 takes place in Bayview after the events of Need for Speed: Underground. The prologue begins with the player driving in a Nissan Skyline R34 in Olympic City (though the racing scenes are actually in Bayview), the setting of NFS:UG. He then receives a race challenge from a rather ominous personality who offers him a spot on his crew, but "won't take 'no' for an answer." The player races off — despite Samantha's warnings — only to be ambushed by a mysterious driver in a rage that totals his Skyline. The driver, who has a unique scythe tattoo, makes a call confirming the accident, and the flashback fades out.

Pac-Man: Adventures in Time
Pac-Man: Adventures in TimeAs in the original Pac-Man arcade game, the basic objective of each level is to guide Pac-Man through a maze while eating dots, unique food items, and power pellets that make Pac-Man's enemies, the Ghosts, edible for a limited time. The ability to jump returns from Pac-Mania for bypassing hazards and avoiding enemies. Some levels contain obstacles such as deadly boulders, animals who delay or kill Pac-Man, and explosive projectiles. After every few rounds there is a bonus mini-game in which the player can obtain some extra points (with every 50,000 points earning Pac-Man an extra life). The levels also feature a variety of shapes and architectural features such as cylindrical mazes, canopies, bridges, pyramids, and even walls that allow Pac-Man to walk vertically. The game features more sophisticated events than its arcade predecessor, such as collecting a certain number of pellets to unlock another area of a maze. The game also includes the ability to see the short intermission videos that come before a new level and allow for an option of non-storyline play on specific levels. The game also has the ability to connect over the Internet for multiplayer mini-games.
