i remembered playing this game on the PS2; it was incredibly good and the driving and customization are some of the best in the NFS Series, I really want to play this game again. Please, add this game.

Awesome game, still played to this day despite the PC version being awful and requiring fan made patches Love the franchise or hate it, i think it's important for all those PC Port to still be available to all to this day i don't think it's available in any store so it's sucks and would be very welcomed on GOG

GOG needs to get all the dropped Need for Speed titles. The only place to buy them now is privately for used disks. To say nothing that GOG could use as many racing games as it can get. The current catalog is a joke.
Truly one of the stand out of the need for speed franchise. one of the first video games I recall playing that really got me into racing and different cars. I now race cars, fix and tune cars. And this is one of the reasons. It would be great to see this on GoG, not only so its playable to a new generation and those to come, but that you wouldnt need to download it from fan forums.

The most underrated Need for Speed game. I remember buying this game second hand on GameStop for my ps2 with savings as a kid and the buying again when I got my ps3. It was such a good representation of car culture and events. Having a good port would be a dream come true, specially since other popular nfs tiles have some decent options

Best of the Best, deserves as much praise as the other Classic NFS games if not more, nothing comes close to it. It belongs on GOG. Played so much in the PS2 despite not being the "best" version and the other attempts to bring them to PC failed on its face. I think people would re-think their relationship and opinion of this game if they gave a chance and tried it. So this is my "Bring it to GOG" contribution i guess
I remember playing this as a kid on the Wii and I couldn't put it down despite the horribly inaccurate motion controls. It really nailed the auto festival vibe long before Forza Horizon came along. The color palette and bloom effects take me back to when more games were colorful, before the muted tones of gritty realism took over in the AAA space. I would love to see an updated PC version with support for modern XBOX / Playstation controllers.
Childhood favourite. I always somehow end up coming back to this game. I have completed this game twice now in my life. 1 of my favourite if not all time favourite racing game and game out of the need 4 speed series I hold in high regard including need 4 speed underground 2. alot of good memories with both games. really hope this becomes available or gets the well overdue and well deserved remaster/ sequel 🙏.
Those games also need your vote!
Metropolis Street Racer
Metropolis Street RacerGameplay in MSR is centred around the single-player mode, with tracks and cars in the multiplayer mode being unlocked at the same time as in the single-player game. The premise is that, as a street racer, the player must impress other drivers with quick but stylish driving in a series of challenges. These challenges are in sets of ten (called Chapters - there are 25 in total), with completion of all challenges opening the next chapter (assuming the player has enough Kudos, see below) and unlocking a new car. Each challenge is on a different track, and unlocking a challenge unlocks that track in the time-attack and multiplayer modes.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.
