This probably might be a controversial opinion but I thought Lego Racers 2 was slightly better than it's predecessor. Granted, it didn't have a lot of the themes from the previous game but it made up for that with the mini-games and exploration elements.
If I remember right I bought this with my own money when it came out and even though it took some getting used to I loved it all the same. Did open world racing well before Forza Horizon and the unique hub worlds were genuinely mysterious and exciting to explorea long with some interesting twists on racing such as being able to deconstruct enemy cars with weapons. It drive a lot more like a sim-cade racer than the more kart style of the first game but it's excellent in its own right.
This & the first Lego Racers should definitely be on GOG; they're wonderful games kids can enjoy while building their aptitude for racing in 3D (like I did). Albeit, this game was confusing to me at first. Building off what I knew from the first game, I just got lost in the first level and could not tolerate the vague nature of the mission structure, the landscape & how it integrated into the races, and just how everything felt so different from the first game. So I stayed with the first Lego Racers until 3 years later, then I started to understand this game a lot better and almost beat it. It would be awesome to go back to this series and see it I can beat it this time.
I remember when I would watch my brother play this game and when he got to the end he had a hard time beating the final race. When I was able to played through it, I had such a blast and as my older brother watched me beat the last race on my first try, he was in disbelief that I beat it on my first try. I also had a blast racing against my brother on his computer, a windows 95. those were the days and I hope that we can bring old games like this to modern consoles.
X-Men: The Arcade GameThe player chooses one of six X-Men: Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler or Dazzler. Their objective is to stop the villain Magneto from wreaking havoc on human civilization. They must fight through enemies from the comics such as an army of hundreds of Sentinels, mutant crocodiles, Reavers and supervillains such as Pyro, Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, The White Queen, Juggernaut, and Mystique. Later, Magneto kidnaps Professor X and Kitty Pryde, prompting the heroes to go on a rescue mission. The heroes fight their way to Island M and ultimately to Magneto's base on Asteroid M where the final battle takes place.Action
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!The Mushroom Kingdom just got a whole lot more hectic as Mario and friends double up for furious kart racing. This time around, each kart holds two racers that can switch places at any time, so choose from a huge cast of favorites and pair them up any way you see fit. The character in front handles the driving duties, while the character in the rear doles out damage with six normal items and eight special items that only specific characters can use. Start out blowing by some stand-ups as you carve a wave on your Bodyboard. It takes lotsa practice to master a barrel roll off the lip. But when you get it down, Wooa! Watch out dudes, it's all over! Dodge a few grommets on the way in to max your score.
Once you get your feet wet, be prepared to freeze 'em off as you take on the challenge of Snowboarding. Take the scenic route as you pilot a chopper to the top of the mountain. Parachute down, but watch your height... That 'chute needs time to open, you know! It takes real heavy thrashing to get down in one piece, let alone winning time. On the way down pick up a little bonus time by showing the crowd your stuff in the Snow Bowl.
Get majorly amped with Jet Surfing, just about the hottest thing to hit California since sunshine. Snag one of four surf jets and rocket onto the course. Race around the buoys and go for speed, or try a few ramps on for size. Beat the clock or your friends: there's no speed limit on these waters, pal!
If you really want to take off, try Hang Gliding. Search for thermals cruising above the coastline. Once you get the hang of it, you can try a few radical stunts just for the heck of it... But blow the landing, and you'll be eating a California cliff burger. Pass the salt, dweeb.
Once you've mastered the others, you're ready for the toughest challenge of all... outlaw Skateboarding down the meanest aqueduct on The Coast. Just when you think you've caught the rhythm of the halfpipe, bam!... Everything goes black, and you're corkscrewing through this killer fullpipe. Survive that and it's back into the sunshine in front of the crowd. Oh, by the way, did we forget to mention the concrete wall? Yow! Sorry, dude... to air is human.Action

After you have chosen the perfect vehicle, get on one of the three tracks: "Tropical Paradise," "Scorching Desert," or the "Winter Wonderland." Your biggest challenge will be to try and stay off of the walls and in the lead. Once you cross the finish line, you receive points that you can use to upgrade your vehicle in four different areas: tires, shocks, turbo, and engine.
