This probably might be a controversial opinion but I thought Lego Racers 2 was slightly better than it's predecessor. Granted, it didn't have a lot of the themes from the previous game but it made up for that with the mini-games and exploration elements.

If I remember right I bought this with my own money when it came out and even though it took some getting used to I loved it all the same. Did open world racing well before Forza Horizon and the unique hub worlds were genuinely mysterious and exciting to explorea long with some interesting twists on racing such as being able to deconstruct enemy cars with weapons. It drive a lot more like a sim-cade racer than the more kart style of the first game but it's excellent in its own right.
This & the first Lego Racers should definitely be on GOG; they're wonderful games kids can enjoy while building their aptitude for racing in 3D (like I did). Albeit, this game was confusing to me at first. Building off what I knew from the first game, I just got lost in the first level and could not tolerate the vague nature of the mission structure, the landscape & how it integrated into the races, and just how everything felt so different from the first game. So I stayed with the first Lego Racers until 3 years later, then I started to understand this game a lot better and almost beat it. It would be awesome to go back to this series and see it I can beat it this time.

I remember when I would watch my brother play this game and when he got to the end he had a hard time beating the final race. When I was able to played through it, I had such a blast and as my older brother watched me beat the last race on my first try, he was in disbelief that I beat it on my first try. I also had a blast racing against my brother on his computer, a windows 95. those were the days and I hope that we can bring old games like this to modern consoles.
Those games also need your vote!

Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller
Crazy Taxi 3: High RollerAfter New York, what city could be screwy enough for a CRAZY TAXI game? You guessed it, an amped-up version of Las Vegas serves as the backdrop for this chapter in this ultra-tense driving game. As with previous series installments, the object of the game is to collect as much fare money as possible by picking up and delivering passengers at record speeds. You'll have to create a few shortcuts of your won in order to win, and that will mean causing a few crashes and knocking down a few buildings.

Winter Olympics: Lillehammer '94
Winter Olympics: Lillehammer '94Winter Olympic Games is the officially licensed game for the Winter Olympics tournament of 1994 in Lillehammer, Norway. The European version (Winter Gold) does not feature the license, but is otherwise the same game. The player can compete for one of 20 different nations in 7 different events: downhill skiing, biathlon, ski jumping, bobsleigh, slalom skiing, short track ice skating and freestyle moguls. Each discipline can be practiced on its own before the actual competition. Competition can either be the full set, only the first or last half, only the downhill disciplines, or without the downhill disciplines. Controls and perspectives differ by event: the downhill ski events are shown in isometric perspective. The athlete's course is controlled relative to the screen. He can crouch to accelerate and also put the skis together to brake. Jumps in freestyle and ski jumping are triggered through the buttons. Biathlon is seen from a side-scrolling perspective. The buttons are used to accelerate, taking into account the athlete's constitution indicated by a heart meter. The shooting is done by moving a crosshair over the targets and pushing a button. Short track is seen from a top-down perspective, with the athlete's movements controlled through alternating pushes of left and right on the d-pad. Bobsleigh is seen from a third-person 3D perspective behind the sleigh.

Ugh!
Ugh!Ugh! is an arcade/flight game developed by Bones Park Software Artistic and published in 1992 by PlayByte for the Amiga, Commodore 64 and DOS. The game is a clone of Space Taxi. It features a caveman who, in order to appeal to his beloved future mate, controls a stone-age muscle-powered helicopter, picking up passengers and flying them to the desired location for money. The player must venture through 69 levels, and must evade natural obstacles as well as hostile Dinosaurs and "Birds" (actually pterosaurs). Collisions with obstacles, hard landings and touching obstacles with the helicopter's rotor inflict damage to the helicopter. Also, powering the helicopter exhausts the pilot, which may be recovered by picking up fruits knocked off Tree with Stone. Stone may be also dropped on a hostile monster, knocking it out for a short time. Ugh! was later distributed as a shareware mainly from Bulletin Board Systems and magazine cover disks. The Commodore 64 version of the game also features a two player hotseat mode, in which two players compete to finish the level, while the DOS and Amiga versions feature a cooperative simultaneous two player mode. The game keeps tracks of the player's progress using level codes; the codes for single player levels are Christian Death song titles, the two-player codes are song titles by Current 93.
