Story:Kingdom Hearts is an action role-playing game developed and published by Squaresoft for the PlayStation 2. It is the result of a collaboration between Square and The Walt Disney Company. The game combines characters and settings from Disney's animated features with those from the Final Fantasy series, developed by Square.
Kingdom Hearts was a departure from Square's standard role-playing games by introducing a substantial action-adventure element. In addition, it has an all-star voice cast which included many of the Disney characters' official voice actors. Kingdom Hearts was longtime Square character designer Tetsuya Nomura's first time in a directorial position.
The game uses an experience based progression system, with experience gained by defeating foes. Experience gained rises in relation to the strength of the foe, and is consistent for each enemy over the course of the game. Levels are gained with experience, and provide increases to stat attributes in strength, defence, magic, hit points, magic points and ability points, with a new, predetermined ability unlocked approximately every four levels.Show more

Oh Kingdom Hearts, how I've known you! Kingdom Hearts & its sequel are my most favorite games of all time. For me, I just loved the gameplay loop: going to a world/planet, smacking some Heartless here & there, then fighting a boss, then repeating that process until you save the planet. The game is so well designed that this process was continuously fun instead of boring or repetitive; I've replayed this game alone nine or ten times because of it. Speaking of that, the music... oh the music; it's wonderful! I'd describe it as a well orchestrated lullaby - especially the World Selection's theme song "Precious Stars in the Sky". So much of this game is memorable to me; it effectively helped form my taste for real-time combat games. For any of the Kingdom Hearts games to be on GOG would be an absolute delight!
Lufia II: Rise of the SinistralsLufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals serves as a prequel to Lufia & the Fortress of Doom, unfolding its events ninety-nine years before. The narrative delves into the origins of the series' antagonists, the Sinistrals, a group of super-humans. Players take on the role of the ancestor of Maxim, the protagonist from the first game, as he embarks on a quest after encountering Iris, a mysterious woman. Maxim seeks other heroes to join forces in preventing the Sinistrals from wreaking havoc and destroying the world.
Like its predecessor, Rise of the Sinistrals follows the Japanese-style turn-based RPG format with an infusion of puzzle elements. The game incorporates intricate puzzles into its dungeon designs, requiring players to use various items and accessories for solving. Additionally, it introduces the "Capsule Monsters" system, allowing summoned monsters to participate in battles. These creatures evolve through the consumption of weapons, armour, or special fruits.
