This is one of the best sci-fi game franchises ever released and it definitely shouldn't be forgotten. I believe as much as I can that we can play it again soon on both Playstation and PC. Love it so much!

KILLZONE IS A MUST!!!! These absolute classics are an essential to preserve in GOG's library, three PS games that seem to be neglected when it comes to there availability and compatibility.
As another game series that has been abandoned to make new more profitable games, the whole Killzone series should be preserved for their fun and engaging campaigns as well as their awesome multiplayer. Any game with bot support deserves praise, especially when (almost) all multiplayer content is accessible with it.
Actually i only played the third game of the trilogy, but i was one of the games i've ever played in my childhood, along with GTA San Andreas, Need for Speed Underground 2 and other ones. And i would love to play all the three games again (play for the first time 1 and 2) and hopefully the others standalone games of this series.

What makes the Killzone franchise special for me is the fact that it’s based on a political war between the ISA and Earth against Helghast which for each side has they’re reasons of why On top of that the gameplay was amazing specially killzone 3 campaign for me I wish I was able to play the multiplayer back in the day it looks enjoyable that’s why I want it to be back to play it once more

Killzone has long been one of my FAVORITE PlayStation franchises that have ever existed, and it's a travesty that this IP has not seen any new games or releases this generation. The mainline trilogy should be preserved because it was one of many playstation IPs that shone at a time when Sony needed to be at their absolute best during the console wars of the 2000s. It's a bloody shame that Guerrilla Games treat it now as the black sheep of their portfolio, and Sony themselves have only acknowledged the franchise 3 times this gen - One rerelease of its PSP game, Liberation, the other two being from a T-Shirt seen in The Last of Us 2 Remaster and a small snippet of the Killzone 2 Intro from Playstation's anniversary video. To this day, the mainline trilogy (save for Shadowfall) have NOT been made available to purchase and play again on modern hardware (PS4 and PS5, because Sony simply won't) and I think that adds to the importance of preserving games such as these as well as the PsVita spinoff, Mercenary - heck, the story mode depicting a war - political and literal - as well as its multiplayer ALONE justifies the necessity to make sure the Killzone entries don't become stuck to PS3, or even worse, lost media. This franchise is one of many important IPs in Playstation's history that should be preserved...because like many of its other fellow ps franchises that we all grew up playing, they've been stuck in the closet for far too long.

The Killzone Trilogy, oh man. I have played it on PS3, and i just cant imagine this franchise beeing abondoned and fade in history. I think that making this game available will bring back so many memories for so many people, and saving these games's legacy.

For me it's a perfect fps sf war. The second part is perfect in every way, the graphics look great today and the gameplay is varied and addictive. I never liked playing multiplayer but with KZ2 I played every day for almost a year. I always like to come back to these games.

Not only should the single player games be preserved and playable on modern hardware, but there should also be at least 1 playable multiplayer Killzone game. The unique visuals and gameplay need to available to old and new audiences alike.

This is easily one of the best sci fi games ever made, alongside gears and Halo. I cannot stress How much of a actual master piece Killzone 2 is, the story is perfect, the combat is grounded and heavy, almost simulational, the story is deep and mature with a great message about the cycle of violence and war
Those games also need your vote!
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher BayEscape from Butcher Bay is set in the futuristic science fiction universe of the Chronicles of Riddick franchise, and is a prequel to the film Pitch Black. The game takes place inside Butcher Bay, a maximum-security prison from which no prisoner has escaped. The facility - constructed on a barren planet - contains three increasingly secure holding areas, and a subterranean mining operation.

Starsiege
StarsiegeStarsiege takes place in the 29th century, portraying the conflict between humanity and the artificially intelligent Cybrid war machines. Played out in various locations throughout the solar system, the story examines both civil unrest in the colonies and an all-or-nothing genocidal invasion by the machines. Bipedal mecha known as HERCs are the mainstay of ground-based combat, and the focus of gameplay. Humanity is nominally united in an interplanetary Empire, led from Earth by the Immortal Emperor Solomon Petresun. Petresun's policy is the defence of Earth at all costs. While Earth is prosperous and well protected, the colonies on Luna, Mars, and Venus suffer from increasingly harsh regulations and production quotas. The combat units of the Empire are represented by the Imperial Police, Terran Defense Force and the Imperial Knights. The former paramilitary group is responsible for maintaining order in the colonies. The Terran Defense Force are the standard military with bases from Mercury to Titan. The Knights, led by Grand Master Caanon Weathers, are the military's elite and are provided with the best pilots and equipment. The inequality between the colonies and Earth foments rebellion. In 2802 there are two guerilla movements on Mars, one that concentrates on destroying and capturing Imperial infrastructure and supplies and another bent on killing Imperial personnel and sympathizers. Both groups operate from underground bases and make do with modified mining HERCs and tanks. The rebels partially offset their disadvantages with superior weapons taken from the alien "Tharsis Cache"; an underground stockpile of alien technology discovered by rebels while digging new tunnels. Eventually the rebellion becomes too great for the police to contain and the Knights are deployed to Mars to crush the insurrection. The Cybrids are a race of sentient robots responsible for the first Earthsiege. They are led by the first Cybrid, Prometheus, who is revered with god-like status. The Cybrids established themselves in the outer solar system after being defeated two centuries before during the first Earthsiege. Since then they have built up their strength for another bid to destroy humanity and claim Earth for their own. Like the Martian rebels, the Cybrids discover their own cache of alien weapons and adapt it to use, but their cache is inferior to the Tharsis Cache. The game offers two story campaigns, with different endings. The Human campaign puts the player in control of a Martian rebel, initially fighting the Empire before humanity unites against the Cybrid invasion midway through the campaign. The human campaign culminates in an attack on Prometheus on Pluto. The Cybrid campaign starts with their invasion across the outer colonies and proceeds to Earth, ending in an assault on the Imperial palace to kill Petresun.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Tribes: Vengeance
Tribes: VengeanceSet hundreds of years before the events of Starsiege: Tribes, Vengeance depicts the birth of the growing Tribal War. It focuses on the events surrounding five different characters over the course of two generations and how they each contribute to the developing war. The story ("The Past") begins with a Phoenix sub-clan leader named Daniel abducting the soon to be Queen, Princess Victoria. He takes her to his home world to show her the injustices done to his people and the two eventually fall in love. During this time, a cybrid assassin named Mercury is hired by an unknown contractor to eliminate Daniel, but the contract is canceled moments before the shot is fired. Eventually, Victoria and Daniel try to make amends between the Imperials and the Phoenix, but it all ends disastrously when the Phoenix's enemies, the Blood Eagle tribe, stage a raid on a Phoenix base disguised as Imperial troops. In rage, Daniel kills the Imperial King, Tiberius, whom Victoria avenges by killing Daniel. It turns out that Victoria was pregnant with Daniel's child, who was born female under the name Julia soon afterwards.

Touhou Youyoumu: Perfect Cherry Blossom
Touhou Youyoumu: Perfect Cherry BlossomPerfect Cherry Blossom features three playable characters to choose from, and each character has two different sets of skills. Reimu Hakurei is relatively balanced in all areas. Marisa Kirisame moves faster, and uses more powerful attacks with less range. Sakuya Izayoi moves slower, and uses weaker attacks that can hit just about everything on the screen. A major addition to Perfect Cherry Blossom is the "Cherry" scoring system. Shooting enemies increases your Cherry Points, bombing or dying decreases your Cherry Points, and reaching 50,000 Cherry Points gives you a temporary shield. Cherry Points eventually lead to a higher Cherry Gauge, which increases the points you receive from Point Items. Other important changes are the appearance of your character's hitbox while you are focused, the properties of your attacks depending on whether you are focused or unfocused, and a helpful cursor along the bottom margin during a boss battle that shows the location of the boss. This game is also unique in that it includes a "Phantasm Stage" that can be played only after clearing the Extra Stage. ZUN stated that the Extra Stage in this game was meant to be an "easy mode" version; perhaps Phantasm Stage was the original Extra Stage during development.

Touhou Koumakyou: The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil
Touhou Koumakyou: The Embodiment of Scarlet DevilEmbodiment of Scarlet Devil features two playable characters to choose from, with two Spell Card types each. Reimu Hakurei can cover a wide area of the screen with weaker attacks, while Marisa Kirisame relies on her speed and power to make up for her thinner attack spread. The bombs show different behavior and damage depending on the character and type chosen. Unlike its predecessor, Mystic Square, Embodiment of Scarlet Devil comes with an "automatic item collection" feature, which allows you to collect all items on the screen by moving to the top of the screen if you are at full power, as well as a counter-bomb system, which allows you to avoid a fatal hit by using a bomb immediately. Though there are six total stages in the main game, playing on Easy will end the game after Stage 5.
