No real story to tell, other than while searching for "best space shooter games" this game came up on Reddit, as really good. Truth be told, I'm old (mid-60's) and for the most part Suck at (difficult) gaming (excluding racing titles, I can Drive!), so I really like "pick up and play" type space shooters, the really easy ones especially, such as the Arcade option in the old and original Incoming game. What could be "perfect for me" (?) might be a combination of Starlancer with the arcade Incoming game, which is wanting much more speed for the various aircraft, newer better graphics (but even as simple as the Incoming graphics are, the colors and flare effects are still great looking, to me anyway). The GOG version made Incoming that much more enjoyable in not needing the annoying CD to play, even though I had purchased several CD copies in the past (dirt cheap, a couple of bucks each, roughly).
With this being my first such comment here at GOG, if there's a way to "reply" (that I would know about?) I'd love some other ideas from someone with similar taste in space shooter games (Everspace is a likely possibility, especially on sale here right now).
