One of the best PS2 games. So underrated. We can't even play it on PC. Total abandonware from Capcom. It's a shame. It was so epic, an horror survive game with a dog helping you. Hewie *_*

Haunting Ground is a unique horror game that was not only a spiritual successor of the Clock Tower franchise, but a horror game like no other with its heavy psycho sexual horror themes and the relationship the player has with not only the main character Fiona, but the game itself. Sadly this game is practically inaccessible for anyone in the west with copies of the game going into the 100s (usd). Its a horror masterpiece and deserves to be preserved. I'll never forget Daniella and how scary she was with her calm demeanor, while wanting to stab me to death. Was pretty hot tbh. Fiona is only partially referenced now adays in other capcom games, but I wanna see her game return so a new generation can experience this underrated classic!
Trying to solve the puzzles while the enemies are chasing, really put a pressure on me I really haven’t felt before. Also me screaming at the screen while that big guy tried to kill me……..yeah that was a moment.
This has been a game I've tried to find for several years now, but that is extremely difficult. Only released on the PS2, I have just not found copies of this game that are not super expensive. As of January 29, 2025 this title is worth $299 loose and $387.48 complete in box per price charting. I want to play this game legitimately and hope that GOG can deliver a PC port that would make this widely accessible to all gamers.

This game is a beautiful, creepy masterclass on making someone uncomfortable. Some of the best puzzles, a wonderful soundtrack, the best stalkers you could ask for and a dog to boot. Haunting Ground shows you the horrors of simply being a girl, which I'm sure many of us can relate to, and it's unmatched <3

I have loved the visual style of this game and have been waiting a good chunk of my life to get to play it. I've not seen a rerelease of this fantastic title in some time and would really appreciate it. Fans of the survival horror genre would also be pleased many iconic horror titles of the era have gone too long without a place to sit down and play and we need more like this.
One of my most favorite horror games it deserves a chance to be abled to be played on GOG considering how rare and expensive it is plus more people should experience the good boy that is Hewie
By far one of the best stalker horror games ever made. Artistically and musically stunning, it engages you in an unrelenting atmosphere of paranoia and dread. The story touches upon sensitive subject matters that I feel you genuinely don't see in most other games, even to this day (and manages to handle it with the appropriate amount of gravitas and depth it deserves). I've only ever been able to play this gem on an emulator, but it's easily become one of my favorite games ever, so I'd love to be able to properly support and own it. This game deserves to be preserved, as it's a genuinely stellar and unique piece of art.
One of the best games Capcom ever made and it deserves another chance! Everyone should have a chance to experience this game without spending a lot of money, and this would be a perfect opportunity!
This is one of the first games I bought myself back in the day, I was about 15/16. It was £10 in a second hand bin in GAME (in Scotland). I bought it because it had a dog on the cover XD! Me and my best friend at the time played it when we got back to mine. It was amazing! Daniella's chase music still freaks me out to this day!!! LOVE THIS GAME!!! HEWIE FOR THE WIN!!! XD!!!
Those games also need your vote!
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Silent Hill: Shattered MemoriesSilent Hill: Shattered Memories is the seventh installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series, and a stand-alone reimagining of the original Silent Hill video game. Once again, you will cast Harry Mason searching across the haunted town for his missing daughter Cheryl. Through his exploration, Harry will come across objects and recordings that tell some of the history of Silent Hill. New to the series are a depiction of Silent Hill's demonic alter-dimension as a world of ice, and the removal of weapons from the game: when the monsters come out, Harry must literally run for his life. Between scenes, the game will cut to a psychiatrist's office, who asks personal questions about Harry and his past experiences. The game will then alter itself based on the player's responses, changing characters and lines of dialog to something intended to be more personally uncomfortable.

Conker's Bad Fur Day
Conker's Bad Fur DayHumorous action-platformer that does away with the tedious item collection found in most games in the genre. Instead, BFD employs a combination of standard jump, run and explore mechanics and context-sensitive gags and actions. For instance, in the beginning of the game, by pressing the B button on the first pad he encounters, Conker drinks some Alka-Seltzer to wipe out his hangover, at which point players can proceed forward. Later on these pads are used to activate a slingshot and throwing knives; to turn Conker into an anvil and drop downward; to shoot automatic, double-handed guns; to activate a The Matrix-inspired slow-motion effect and flip through the air shooting enemies; and much, much more.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Resident Evil 1.5
Resident Evil 1.5Resident Evil 1.5 / Biohazard 1.5 (also known as BIOHAZARD 2 PROTOTYPE) is the development name given to the first iteration of Resident Evil 2, which was scrapped in 1997. As the game was approaching its May 1997 release date, the developers were dissatisfied with the resulting product. Rather than releasing a game they were unhappy with, the developers took the risk of cancelling the game and developing the game again from scratch.
