**Why *Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition* Is a Lot Better Now and Should Be on GOG** When *Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition* first launched in 2021, it was met with disappointment from longtime fans. Bugs, odd visual choices, and performance issues clouded what should’ve been a triumphant return to one of the most iconic open-world games of all time. But fast forward to now—after several substantial updates and patches—the game has been greatly improved and deserves a second look. The lighting has been refined, giving Vice City's neon-soaked nights and sunlit streets more atmosphere. Character models have been touched up, animations feel smoother, and key bugs that once broke immersion have been addressed. Gameplay tweaks like better aiming, smoother driving mechanics, and modernized controls bring quality-of-life improvements without compromising the original feel of the game. Putting this updated version on **GOG** would be a perfect match. GOG is all about DRM-free preservation, and Vice City is a vital part of gaming history. A polished, fixed version on GOG ensures long-term access, better modding support, and a platform for new players to experience the magic of 1980s Miami-inspired chaos—without the issues that plagued the launch. *Vice City – The Definitive Edition* now plays like a proper love letter to the original, with better visuals, performance, and accessibility. It’s time to give it the spotlight it deserves—especially on a platform that values quality and preservation like GOG.

Jet Set Radio HD
Jet Set Radio HDJet Set Radio HD is the latest remaster in a string of Dreamcast "hits" to see new life on download platforms, but Sega has been insistent that they've learned its lessons. The publisher has emphasized how hard it's trying to get things right this time, and for many, it couldn't have chosen a better game. Jet Set Radio was part of Sega's onslaught of new properties with an emphasis on flash and style during the second wave of Dreamcast software, but it might be one of the more obscure. It's a game that almost everyone has heard of, but I think few have actually played. This was remedied somewhat with 2002's Xbox sequel Jet Set Radio Future. Unlike Sonic Adventure or the arcade hit Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio HD is the chance for many to finally play a game they've only heard about. Nostalgia has the side effect of high expectations though, and Jet Set Radio HD just can't meet them. While the flash and style of Jet Set Radio HD remains untouched and unvarnished by a dozen years of progress, the rest of it can't stand up to scrutiny. Squirrely controls, camera catastrophes, and nonsensical level design make Jet Set Radio HD a better memory than game.
