Disney's Ariel the Little Mermaid
Disney's Ariel the Little MermaidThe game takes place from a side view and Ariel (Swimming most of the time, but hopping around on the land occasionally) can shoot bubbles to trap her foes and can then throw them at each other. She can also dig through sand to find treasure and pick up sea shells to help her break chests open. The treasure she finds in the sand is usually just bonus points, but the treasure you find in chests will increase your bubble's power and range.

Disney's The Little Mermaid II
Disney's The Little Mermaid IIFourteen years have passed since Ariel first defeated Ursula, married Prince Eric, and got herself a pair of legs. Now her daughter, Melody, has decided to go against her mother's wishes to search the ocean for the city of Atlantis. Children begin the adventure as Ariel, reliving the events of the first movie. Once they defeat Ursula, kids change over to Melody and start their search for Atlantis. Disney did an excellent job making the controls simple enough for even young children to use. The goals and obstacles are also fairly simple- collect coins and pearls, for example. Even more impressive are the spoken instructions that accompany the on-screen text.

Troll Patrol
Troll Patrol"Troll Patrol" is a puzzle game which combines the tile-matching and RPG genres by offering a unique experience: Play as the last defender of the threatened troll den where vicious village people and heroes from far away castles and kingdoms knock down your door. Stand firm, take whatever weapon is close and fight them off to get your family and friends to safety. Protect what is rightfully yours, your home, your heritage. They come for blood, for revenge, to still their blood thirst. But you won't allow it. Fight of waves of enemies, each consisting of at least 50 turns. Each turn you can collect connected tiles which will yield rewards depending on their type: - Potions heal you and might even yield you a powerful healing potion that you might use whenever you need it. - Shields will replenish your armor and count towards your loot value. Collect enough and you can improve your items. You might even find explosives. - Coins will allow you to purchase stronger weapons and more powerful armor. - Swords can be connected with enemies to deal them damage. Killing them will increase your experience which will lead to levelups and new and better skills. At the end of each wave you will encounter a boss enemy who is stronger and more dangerous than any other enemy you encountered on your way so far. Defeating him can unlock new features and new enemy types. Completing a wave may even trigger a random event that will offer you multiple choices to resolve it. After your first patrol you may also select one of multiple offered quests which will yield you tentacles and other rewards which can be used to purchase permanent upgrades for your cave. Will you be the saviour of your people? Or just another worm, crushed under the heels of those so-called heroes?

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Trouble With Trolls
Trouble With Trolls"The Trouble With Trolls" - or at least so my old Mum used to keep telling me - was that they simply never knew when to give up. If they found themselves faced with a plateful of best, prime quality "deviled orc's eyes" then they would just sit there and eat them all until they were sick. Or else they would do battle with their strongest enemies until neither of them were capable of swinging another blow. Worse still, they held on to their gold with a grip that few could break and had even been known to lay down their very life to protect it or to take yours in the process!!! As for getting them to part with treasure such as diamonds and pearls that was almost a task beyond the talents of even the most ardent of the adventurers that chose to undertake it. So it was that such a task needed to be carried out and so it was that BRIAN WOODLOUSE was the poor unfortunate sod that had to do it.
