Story:Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is a tactical RPG in the Disgaea series. The game is a sequel to 2003's Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the PlayStation 2, where the respective main characters of that game will again be the focus. Gameplay in Disgaea D2 remains the same as other core Disgaea games in the series. Monster Mounting is a new feature that replaces Magichange from Disgaea 3 and Disgaea 4. Characters can also build relationships with each other and their compatibility is determined by a heart scale of 1 to 5. Another feature is the Cheat Shop, which allows the player to modify certain attributes such as lowering the gain rate of something like experience, to raise the gain rate of something else, like Hell.Show more

While I've always been a fan of videogames, I must admit that I rarely followed the development of a title since it got announced. This was my first time keeping an eye on every single announcement. The return of the original trio as the main focus was such big news! Even today, this is still my favorite Disgaea game, and I'm upset that we never got a version of it outside of the PS3. It deserves so much better
Easily by far my favorite Disgaea game aside from 5. It was a great return to the original trio or Laharl, Etna and Flonne. It is very sad to see this never got a release outside of the PS3 and would fully support it if it was released on PC

I have never had a chance to play this one. It's the only one in the entire series I missed out on. I always hoped that someday I would get to see the craziness this game has to offer. The original cast coming back? Sounds amazing. It would help me finish my collections on PC.
I know this game wasn't loved as much as other installments but I feel it's an underappreciated gem of the series! Sicily was a great inclusion, Xenolith's story was good and I enjoyed the gameplay!
Despite popular opinion I loved this game, It was refreshing to return to Laharl, Flonne and Etna. Sicily was a great inclusion to the trio and the gameplay was so fun!
I really wish D2 was ported onto switch and PC, It and 2 and 3 need to be ported. It was fun to see the original cast again. I would love to replay it as an adult.

Ive been loosely into disgaea for a few years now. Ive watched many videos on it but I want to get the full experience and actually get my hands on the game. With PC being where I do 99.9 percent of my gaming I would love for the disgaea series preservstion to extend to something as timeless as PC
I love this game as it was it was a perfect sequel to Disgaea 1. I still hope for a Disgaea D3, but a re-release of D2 will be great. Not to mention, people will enjoy this game without buying old hardware.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years
Final Fantasy IV: The After YearsFINAL FANTASY IV: THE AFTER YEARS is a direct sequel to FINAL FANTASY IV. It is a Japanese-style role-playing game released in episodic format. The game uses mechanics, assets and graphics from various releases of FINAL FANTASY IV. The characters travel across the world map (although the whole map only becomes accessible in the final Tale The Crystals) fighting random enemies, enter towns to rest, buy equipment and talk to other characters, go to various dungeons for items and boss fights. The battles use the same Active Time Battle (ATB) system from FINAL FANTASY IV, but it is improved in several ways. The class system from FINAL FANTASY IV largely remains the same but it has been tweaked and many new abilities have been added to the characters. The WiiWare port of the game features several graphical enhancements over the mobile version, including larger screen resolution, clearer menu screens and fonts, and improved character portraits. The English localization follows the precedents set by the DS remake of Final Fantasy IV, featuring similar writing and making use of the same translations of names and terminology. A few edits have been made to the English version, including the modification of Ceodore's official character artwork to Westernize his face, as well as alterations to several female characters in order to make their clothing less revealing.

Parasite Eve II
Parasite Eve IIParasite Eve II is an action role-playing survival horror video game released exclusively for the PlayStation. The game was developed by Square and published in Japan in 1999 and in both North America and, unlike the previous game, in PAL regions in 2000. It is the sequel to Parasite Eve and the second game in the series of the same name. Parasite Eve II is set several years after the events in the original game. The protagonist from the first game, Aya Brea, also features in this game as the playable character. She becomes involved with another outbreak of Mitochondrial creatures. Gameplay diverges from the previous game: battles take place in real time and the area of action is less restrictive. The approach is more typical of traditional survival horror games, although some role-playing elements are retained.
