The lizard faction in this game was a amazing combo of different species working together. I bought the game cause of the cool cover art and it quickly became a go to RTS for me. Its a dated but fun game I would love to revisit.
one of my favorite all time rts games i really wish came out digitally i loved the 3 races and their units were quite unique, you could also have very large armies, giant man eating worm "mine fields" and all kindsa fun stuff. i wish more people would vote for it. id buy it in a heartbeat.
This is a fantastic game. I first ran across it in a bargain bin. I paid very little for it but spent many hours playing. It doesn't seem to be available anywhere and I would love to see it brought back!
Dark Planet is an amazing old school RTS, the only problem is that it's not really working for modern machines, and it needs some love. We need this in GOG! Make this happen.
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. Upon release the game garnered mixed reviews due to a number of shortcomings, such as poorly programmed Artificial intelligence, lack of a mid-game save option, and the lack of multiplayer features. However it was praised for its superb sound design and graphics, thanks in part to its use of a proprietary game engine that was previously used in Innerloop's Joint Strike Fighter.
